Come on fellas, just download the mod and view it in OpenBrf. Mod takes about 2.5 seconds to download. Then you can view the items in 3D which is a lot better than screenshots.

Very nice looking helm. As nice or nicer than Faradon's, which looks very similar.

One problem though. People won't be able to add this to their games unless they can edit the brf files (of course anyone who's modding Warband should know how to do that and have the proper software). You connected the material "Norman_helmet" to the mesh. Instead, you should've connected "Norman_faceplate". You might want to fix that and re-upload for the people who can't do it.

Please tell me how I might go about porting these to M&B 1.011 for my own purposes, if that's okay with you. My crashing problems with Warband and buginess persit, and according to preliminary reports about the new 1.20 beta patch, things may or may not improve. So I've decided to stick with the original M&B until Taleworlds gets their shit together. But after seeing these faces in Warband (for all of two minutes in a brand new game before I crashed, no joke!), I can now not live without them.

Anyway, I already tried to port them to 1.011 and got an error message. Is there anything really simple I can do in OpenBRF which will allow these to work in M&B?

The sumper normalmap doesn't match up with the sumpter main file, and looks really bad in game. Unfortunately the sumpter's texture and normal map are unique compared to all the others, so I can't even fix this myself by replacing it with another.

After making some edits with this utility, I experienced a bug in the opening quest. Specifically, there was a problem at the end of the battle where you're supposed to ask the robber where the prisoner is located. After several attemps in several new test games, it said the robber escaped and I was unable to find the location of the hideout (the game bypassed the dialogue with him altogether). This only happened in a new module I made specifically for this tool, and no other changes were made to the module aside from what I changed using Modular Item Builder v0.3. Going back to Native, which had none of these changes, the quest works fine again.

Not flaming --- just pointing out an issue that I hope you can track down, as this is a fantastic utility and I hope it gets expanded to include many more edits and tweaks.
