Adobe Photoshop can open and edit those files.

Or you can convert the files to png and edit with other programs, then convert back to dds.

E: Google for dds convert tools. Easy to find. (:

MOre cities having these bug when be conquered (Dun At, Alt Clut etc...)

there is advice : simply use bardic skill, take one hour music (its enough) and after then be LEAVE option available. :)

There is more frustrating thing. :

Defeated faction, having one lord, he looting my vilages... :)
One man, looting periodicaly alll my villages. :)
This bastard is much quick, and is problem get him.
I must give my other army into my garison , and with my 20 soldiers going to pursue him.
After one day following him, this bloody bastard attacked my 20 mens party and say : "Surrender od die! You not havy chance again us!" :-D
I killing him into battle field (unconsciousnes) and he has managed to escape... :)

Hello boys, first, thank you for Brytenwalda, I playing this mod from his start and I must say that is best mod for M&B.
Yes, bugs are here, but this modification is so wider look that is impossible keep from some strange issues...
So again, thank you boys from Clan de Cuervo and others (Idibil and other good guys...).

I need two advices or hints:

1)With older versions Brytenwalda, when I start battle with enemy that he have bigger army that me, they have for example 60 men in battle and I have only 30.
That good.
NOw, in ver. 1.35 if I have (example) 100 mens army and enemy have 500 mens, in battlefield I have 55 men and enemy only 33... (I have set battle size around 120 in options).
So, enemy not have activity in battle field, and waiting for me, and I must go in her position, slash one from his men and then they going into charge.
It's very simple winning battle also when enemy have amount advantage. With minimal casualties on my side. :(
It's normal?

2) Runners...
Sometimes, in battle field, some "quick runners" at enemy side. They guys going into map corners with speed around 260 miles per hour and there waiting. After battle, when all others enemy is crushed, my mens and me pursue these guys and they very quickly going from corner to corner, sometimes killing one from my men with speed that human eye unrecognised. In few causes Im bleeding out (from half health) and fall down to ground.
I go to kitchen and prepare coffe for myself and after I return with my taste cup coffe, my mens still pursuing these guys...! :)
Ouch...
These causes is ussually in Airigs (goidelic) and Dena pirates and Ship captains....
Its normal?

Hi, I have this same feels... Brytenwalda is best mod, I playing it lot of months.Every I reach around 40 level and when rise new version, I must start new game (because new versions is not compactible with previous versions save games). :)
Boys from Clan del Cuervo make GREAT work, absolutely best, Im addicted at this mod, I living into Brytenwalda virtually/real.
But, I'm very frustrated from new system morale and armor penalties. If I lean heavy armor I have penalty -2 for power strike (thats means -16%, its painfull, im not sure that is realistic) and -2 for riding (okay, maybe realistic) -2 athletic (fine) .
Some light leather helms with weight 1.0 have penalties as heavy helms (-2 weapon throw(?), -2 power draw, -2 horse archery).
Armors with weights more than 10 have too same penalties. If have weight 15 or 22...
Heavy shields having note about penalties, but I not find nothing penalty, when I wearing this.
Nice horses, perfect work, nice weapons (ouch, spears is very deadly dangerous now).
Now, my apology, I going testing next things in my lovely Brytenwalda.

Hi,nice work, but your "module.ini" doesnt support "polished landscapes for Brytenwalda"...
