Download the rar with a different browser and make sure it downloads all the way without the internet being interrupted, try a dedicated downloading program addon for firefox or something thats able to recover files. Then open the rar and try extracting again.

The 1000 errors sounds like its getting corrupted.

Move the RAR to the desktop, view the properties of it and make sure the size is the same size on here. Then extract the folder in the rar to the desktop then cut and paste it into the WFAS modules folder.

Yeah, I'm aware of that, some where along the lines when I was porting code over, the dialogues for things were changed some how. I may look into it at some point in time.

As I recall it happened to a select few NPC's, not to every one, if it was every single one it would be a very big problem....

A fresh re-write of the module_dialogues may fix it......

Delete your languages folder inside the Kengeki Gaiden 2.0 WFAS module folder, it will fix the city names and kingdom names.

Hmm, I downloaded the installer and ran it, and it gave me the correct Kengeki Japanese names, as soon as it starts it copies a native one to make it go faster but then once it finishes installing the mod it will overwrite the native party.txt with the kengeki party.txt, I would suggest deleting the module, and reinstalling it with the setup again and wait until its completely finished installing and then open the parties.txt in notepad and look at the city names, they should be Japanese and not European / Russian.

You might be referring to With Fire and Sword to which this is not a mod for, it's latest update is 1.143 from when I last checked

Warband does have patch 1.143.

And just to let you know guys, last night and today my friend and I have been working hard on Kengeki Gaiden 2.0 for Fire and Sword, we completely finished squad troops for co-op.

Yeah, I could do that, I have BattleTime working in Kengeki its just a little buggy and Egbert isnt quite sure why either...

It'll be posted in The Forge if I get around to it, all you need to do is look for #COOP in each file, I used Grep to do that, then put it in at the exact same spot for every other file.

You missed a spot of #COOP code that made quite a few errors when I first tried compiling, at the bottom of Header_operations theres a bunch of code to copy and now after copying all of that I'm getting an error with the scripts file about an object

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss! For anyone that doesnt know, this is a co-op mod for Warband!! It lets you play over lan or internet with your SP games.

To help incorporate this into your mod I would suggest using Windows Grep - http://www.wingrep.com/ Kinda old but it works great for searching through a folder full of files with text in them for a certain phrase, be sure to add *.py to the file type list.

Also check out Win Merge - http://winmerge.org/

It compares files and shows you the differences.

Actually, I just looked at the textures and they are 4096 x 4096, probably too big for the game.

Download these files, save them into the Kengeki Gaiden texure folder and overwrite the existing ones.

Okay, what is the exact error?

Game crashes every time i go into a shop where a big blue sword is shown. "cabalist.dds" I get the "RGL Error" message.

Alright, does it say anything about the cabalist.dds? The big blue sword is the ice claymore

Could you give me your save game with you next to the shop with it, ill do some trial and error on it, could just be a BRF flag set wrong.

Oh lol, well I just uploaded the so called final version that should include all the meshes being fixed, I did a check with OpenBRF this time.

Can't wait to see a new video from you with the improved textures, it should look awesome!! You should look into FRAPS or Xfires in-game recording for a different recording method...

Thats a very awesome video, you should really use in-game recording software though lol, not an actual camera recording your screen.

this came to me after seeing the description of solid and shade........for regular MNB.

I was very disappointed as well, it turns out to be a lot of work to get them to work in SP since they are a new faction and not an existing one, plus having a zombie faction doesnt making sense, bandits fit them more, but I'll try and look into it more in the future.

I found however that the archers have no other statistics except one handed weapons. Khergit doesn`t have lancers any more, those "Khergit Spearmens" are actually no-dachi infanties. Shinobi have only one line of upgrade up to "ansatsunin", their lords have "commander" or "footman", "veteran footman", "archer" but the single players have none of them. The Angry Farmers looks like partly disarmed, with less armor. Shogunate and Tenbatsu are fine, with both infantry and cavalry units, Samurai Rebels are still without any cavalry like Nords, but with mercenary units is still bearable. Total three playable factions for single player: Tenbatsu, Shogunate and Samurai Rebels.

ONE REALLY UNPLEASANT SURPRISE :cry: - the imported character losses ALL achery points! I played with my charachter up to level 31 then I exported it and imported in new game. From 327 points from archery it had only those that I put on character creation screen (for the current example literaly 15 points!).lThose for trowing are still kept, for crossbows I still don`t know. This thing I saw for the first time.

Since my character had 30 points of Agility I put some points on Athletics with the idea to outrun every enemy but even with 10 points I saw not even the smallest effect. With 30 agility points and 10 athletic points its impossible to run out from any enemy. The weapon speed doesn`t change at all, actually two-handed weapons are faster than one-handed. Strange, isn`t it? With 10 points of Riding or with 1 the horse speed and maneuver are the same. With the Dragon bow there is no use of any other bow, 10 points of Power Draw mean nothing, the strongest bow have 8 requisition (and even with that is less powerfull than Dragon bow, ugh!). With 10 points of Loothing the best loot was sturdy gusoku armor with 40 body 8 legs armor points. Shield skill look useles, no effect at all. Which I saw and with the original campaign but I hoped to see some positive changes with the mods of the more skilled creators.

In the end with all forementioned the mod is still more than good.
