The custom troop tree is upgraded from arena fighters which should become available (and also upgrade from townsmen) slowly in the training grounds once you've finished the training. You talk to merchants in towns or friendly npc lords in your faction to requisition equipment. Press L and go to the notes tab, as there should be more vague information there.

Read the in-game note section - basically grab recruits from training grounds (after finishing training), then talk to various npcs, win tournaments, loot stuff etc for custom equipment.

You need to win large battles (or defeat their owner) to get unique weapons. In the case of the elephant gun, it is being wielded by Captain Carl of Gutenviem and his Jaegars, but you can't get it just by beating them.

It's backflow from the accumulated error messages. Press L and you'll most likely see script errors about most profitable centers for trade. Next time, try to report bugs in the Taleworlds forum thread - it's easier for me to see.

See my post above regarding the error message. I've never gotten around to testing the vassalage sequence where you're actually offered vassalage (by menu/messenger notification), so thanks for reporting it. The same variable that determines your background history is the same as the one that decides which factional oath to use during dialogs.

Sorry, but the background story isn't really supposed to be anything other than determining what equipment and stats you start out with. It uses some of the same global variables that gets used later in the game. I'll think about reducing the number that spawns when you enter a non-battle scene. You might get more error messages about most profitable town to trade after a week or so until I upload a newer version.

Just make a separate copy of the texture and edit it. If you're using OpenBRF, you can duplicate materials and meshes easily. No need to make new armor meshes.

There isn't really a team per se. I'm just that guy who decided to port it over. Do as you see fit, no pressure. As for the variation, I was thinking of different designs for Nefer and Cannoner Janissaries, etc. And could you try to redo the musketeerboots and cavalryboots? Right now they're both just plain black and using the cloaks material - I don't think they were ever textured at all.

Prisoner mission bug is already fixed in the next version.
The battle problem is probably from updating to 1.127. If you've played for an extended duration, then it may be a memory leak (not a module problem).

If you've added them via the module system, then there should be no problems at all. Otherwise, open up menus.txt and increase the bolded values by the number of items you have added. No guarantees that it will work.

If you are playing with an alternate keyboard schematic, please take an action in the camp menu to redefine keys.
And there is no buy automatically, what are you talking about? There's only "Sell items automaticly", which is from Custom Commander. I'll correct it anyways, thanks.
