Hi there, Laszlo here, one of the admins of the most popular Australian Native server:

I've downloaded your maps and will most likely be hosting them for our community. They look concise, balanced and detailed. Thanks for all your efforts!

Would there happen to be a "for dummies" explanation of how to install this, for the non-computer-geeks among us? I tried googling it, but to no avail. ...Help?
Ok I'll add some more steps:

1. Install WinRAR 32-bit Operating System Installer or if you run a 64-bit Operating System download this installer. It's a nice and easy installation and you don't need to reboot afterwards.

2. After you've downloaded the PWMOD_v35B.rar file, locate it, select it, and 'Copy' it (right click and select 'Copy')

3. Open up 'My Computer' or 'Computer' and open your default local hard drive. It's usually called your C drive.

4. Then open 'Program Files' -> 'Mount&Blade Warband' -> 'Modules'

5. Right click and select Paste. Your window should now look like the screenshot in the installation instructions at the top of the screen. Then right click on the PWMOD_35B.rar file and select 'extract to PWMOD_v35B'.

IF you purchase Warband off steam, step 4 will be different. Instead of 'Program Files' -> 'Mount&Blade Warband' -> 'Modules' it may be 'Program Files' -> 'Steam' -> 'SteamApps' -> '[[email protected]]' -> 'Mount&Blade Warband' -> 'Modules'

Also, at this point in time most people are playing the version 4 Alpha (latest version) but the installation method is similar. The only difference is in step 5 where you select 'Extract here' instead of 'Extract to PW_4_Alpha3'

Let me know how you go.

It didnt work for me :-( . it goes have way of the red bar then it exits and says can not find sky boxes
Go to the PWMOD_v35B folder and open the module.ini file. Then look for load_mod_resource = skyboxes and change to load_resource = skyboxes

Integrating the skybox mod has caused this problem a lot so later versions simply won't have it.

LOL this quote is now famous.
Or infamous. Hey, bad fame is better then no fame, right? :pint:

Just for the record, I left that reference to the original 'scam' quote in the Taleworlds thread not to be bitter, but because I truly thought it was hilarious :)

Yeah it's designed for multiplayer. It's all about player interaction.
Lol you guys wouldn't want to. The last test we did was such a catastrophic failure. Half the people were complaining about how boring it was. Nothing worked! Also, we're all Australian so we'd be testing at ungodly hours of the night/day for you guys no doubt.
