I just gave it a try on TDF with my brother (with some bots), it's definitly worth it although we had some issues. The game tends to freeze or simply crashes when loading a map (like above we were unable to play on "camp") but I assume it's still WIP :].
The overall look of fighters and new animations are great, weapons have a very nice feel. However I found the banners on armours quite annoying (even if they look really cool on the battlefield :p), especially when aiming with a bow. Making them smaller would be nice in my opinion.
I loved the foggy map in the forest by the way and the "Last Samurai" map looks good already (and huge), keep up that way!

I *have* to try the solo game now :]

*edit* : Also had very weird graphic issues at one point, with models screwed up or becoming invisible. First time I see it, restarting the game sorted that out though.

I am planning to set up a dedicated server using this awesome mod of yours (basically for a good old LAN with beer and cold pizza =]) but I seem to miss some information such as maps and factions names.

I dare say lighting effects are unexpectedly good looking that way ^^

Nevertheless a day/night (/dawn/evening?) option setting might be appreciated, I'll post that on the forum :]

Great mod with a real breath of fresh air in it. New balance, real new troops, reworked economy and tactics... I enjoyed it for quite a pair of hours now :]

Still I have a recurrent technical issue with it : the game keeps on freezing in battles involving massive armies (600+), only when I get too close to the melee. It especially happens on sieges although battle limit does not exceed 150. I also tried playing with lower graphic settings but it didn't seem to change anything.
I read that people playing in native are experiencing troubles with the latest patches so I'm not blaming your work Xenoargh, I just wanted to point that out ^^

Keep up that way ;)

Maybe it's an issue with my version of Warband but the game now appears to be so dark that it is barely playable :/
Is there a way to select day or night time at least?

I come with a question as well : I sometimes play on local network with some friends but it seems that the mod would not allow to add bots.
Is that normal, is it an issue of some kind or are we just blind? ^^"

I have been experiencing troubles with that latest update : it did actually activate the cheat menu (which is annoying but not too much ;)), then after having been rescued by the skull knight Godo would not give Guts the right equipment.
I upgraded 0.8 with the 0.9 patch and then 0.9c (and double checked it by uninstall/reinstall). Maybe I should have patched from 0.8 with 0.9c files?

I'm a bit disappointed as I was looking forward to this Dragonslayer script but well, I will just be waiting for the next version of this mod.

You did a really great job by the way, I loved the way you changed M&B gameplay and turned it into a massive slaughter that truly suits the books :]
(and for a darker touch I would recommend Gutekfiutek'improved landscapes mod )

Sooo keep up the good work ^^
