C:\Program Files\Mount&Blade Warband\Modules

Open Templar.RAR, put the file named Templar into the Modules folder (Make sure not to put it into one of the other folders that may be in there - just into the Modules folder.) And then select it from the drop-down menu in the opening screen of Warband.

I'd love to be able to recruit Teutonic troops in Teutonic towns. And German troops in German towns. And Crusader troops in the Crusader States.

The only major problem right now is the recruiting, that I can tell. Other than that, AMAZING mod. I love it - it's the only one I play these days. Thanks much for making this awesome mod for this awesome game. And please, fix those recruiting problems! I can't have Lithuanian troops in a Teutonic army!

Also, you should consider making the Templars, and the Hospitaliars a separate state from the Crusader States. The Knights Templar was an Order Militant in service of the Crusaders, working for / with them, not directly under their control. They should be a join-able faction, but that's just me being picky as hell. Thanks again for the great mod.

I'm interested. Would this work with other peoples mods?
I don't understand what HAsh NoyAn was trying to say - I guess he's foreign or something - but he mentioned one thing that I'd like to bring up.

I don't like the way you can ride horses through the sea. You should make it so that when an army runs toward the sea, the sprite changes into a boat and they sail over the water. I've seen this done in many other mods, and if it was done here, and the Glasgau crash was fixed, this mod would be one of the best for Warband.
Great mod, but it keeps crashing whenever I try to take Glasgau or whatever, I think it is.
I've been looking for a mod that does things for Vikings in Mount & Blade, being of Viking (Norwegian, Swedish and Dane, all 1,200 years ago) descent myself. I'm going to check this one out, and I've got some high hopes.

No details about the mod? What it includes / adds / specializes on?

There are also the Teutons, and the Polish, and the Swedish, and a Muscovy faction. People keep making a big deal about Lithuania. Last time I checked, they had a pretty big Empire going in the Middle-ages, so why would everyone be so surprised that Lithuania is a faction in a mod made for a game about the Middle-ages?

Great, great mod. The only one I really play - almost completely bugless (I haven't spotted one, so maybe completely bug-free), it's balanced, it's fun. The only problem that I can see is that there is no real unit variation - there are the same types of units in every single group, albeit named differently, of course.

Add some unit variation, maybe some type of special unit for each faction, and you'd be good to go. Great mod, once again, I look forward to seeing it completed.

This looks great in theory. I love the idea of a Swadian Civil War. I'll download this now and post back what I think. If it doesn't work with 1.125, then oh well.

This mod was fun for a long time. But it got old quickly. Why? I'll explain.

1.) How to get Lords to help defend your Kingdom is never explained. I still don't know how to recruit new lords. There was a mod for the original Mount & Blade that let you create Lords on demand. I like that - do a system like that. Because whatever the current system is, it sucks. Badly.

2.) The patrols are weak as hell. I was defending my Kingdom 100% alone because my patrols were getting ran over by groups of Steppe Bandits and Sea Raiders. Not even to mention what happened when an enemy army invaded my Kingdom. I defeated them, but I did it alone.

3.) WAR WAR WAR. I scratch my head... THE KINGDOM OF SWADIA HAS DECLARED WAR ON YOU. I go to the bathroom... THE KINGDOM OF VAEGIRS HAS DECLARED WAR ON YOU. I take a drink of something... THE SARRANID SULTANATE HAS DECLARED WAR ON YOU. Fix this. Having five wars waged on you at once is extremely annoying - especially when YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE DEFENDING YOUR KINGDOM.

So basically, this has the making of a great mod, but these tiny little problems completely kill it. Fix these, and I'll come back to it. Until then, sayonara Diplomacy.

Mount & Blade: Warband seems to crash a lot (a lot more, anyways) when I'm using this mod. Something about a missing file - I'm missing a bush graphic or something, haha. Anyways, great mod, I'd love to see it come to fruition, but I'm going back to Diplomacy. Crashes way too often.
