Added Language Pack, English and Native Tongues. Names are now in English

Does that mean that the troop trees are in English now?
Oh, how I waited for this! Thank you.

If you mean v1.0, it's a long way off ;-)
It's already fairly stable (It shouldn't randomly crash) and it's fully playable...

Well... OK then. I'll test and report.

Jezze, thank you so much. Curious battle dynamics. Nice original sounds although hitting a shield is a little like two pots banging.

Is there a way to:
1. Make troop names more comprehensible to a regular person. I've read my share of historical novels but there is a lot of guesswork when it comes to upgrading. Makes it hard to create a good army. More English terms perhaps?
2. I think you need to change troop images in the party screen - they give very little indication on what weapons your soldiers are carrying.

Thank you again and keep up the great work!

Sounds really interesting and I was looking for another period mod.
Thank you, I will test the mod tonight and provide the feedback.

Good luck with the development!

I'm not sure if you should do it but I'd add some extra anti-cavalry bonus to pike-men. This is after all the age when a frontal assault of the knight cavalry was no longer a decisive maneuver. Swiss columns ruled the battlefield.

Anyway, I tried to run an infantry only outfit. I'd position it Sun Tzu perfect - a solid wall of pike-men on a hill and crossbow/arquebus mix a few paces behind them. In Total War this kind of setup would kick ass but here the very first wave of seven to ten riders turn everything into circus.
In the end I gave up and hired some Free Lances.

BTW, liked the DUNE tribute. Makes me wonder what else di I miss. ;-)

What folder do you actually DOWNLOAD the file to?

When u say the .rar file do u mean just the mod?

and like im saying.. when i go to my mount and blade folder its not in there not even the zipped version....

.rar file is the MOD - it's simply archived. It doesn't matter where do you save it to. Extract the file into Moun&Blade\Modules directory - it will automatically create SoB folder and when you run the game next time you will be able to choose between "Native" and "Struggle for Bernia". Choose SoB and click on "Play". That's it.

@Nikephoros - love the new map. It's smaller and more diverse.

* What's up with walking on water? I think there should be a way to buy/hire boats cause it looks a bit weird.

* Every time I run into that guy with an enormous sword I'm hoping to loot it but it's never there after the battle. Is it possible at all? I've got level 7 loot and usually I get all the special weapons.

Never happened before and I've played M&B since 0.6XX betas.
Anyway, it's a great mod even if I have to restart the game once in a while. First time I put down a spear and just doing a pistolier routine...

Question to the developers:

Am I the only one with video hmmm... irregularities? I probably just need to upgrade my drivers but at the moment often when I play SfB screen suddenly refreshes and textures go out of whack.

If you need I can give you all the details and make and upload screenshots.

I love it - battle dynamics are very different and it's a challenge.
My thanks to the Mod's creator and I'll will be following it closely from now on.
Damn error. Toga something-something.
And I really want to try it!
