Hello.

First, before ask desperatelly for help, i need to admit, your mod is the most outrageous and perfect i ever seen.

I was feeling so uncomplete w/o decent realistic japan era RPGs, and bang!!!! you come with this.

PS: I know theres a lot of Japanese RPGs, but they are too gay ( I have nothing against Homosexuals), full of shining faggishes, and beautyfull angel faces, and thats makes me sick...

Ok ok, lets go to the point, i loved your mod but i'm enfacing a hard problem w/o ways to avoid.

When i get back to meet my father whos probably in danger, and i see the lord ordering to execute him, after his death ( my father ), the game AI simply stops, i still making my char fire arrows and etcetera, the npcs still alive, but the screeen keeps on the dead fathers and neverrrrrrrrr ends the scene.

I believe this happens baucase Ai, but not sure since i'm not a modder.

Even w/o my decent video card what somehow doesnt work on my new Motherboard, i still love this game, even on minimum configs still awsome, for god sakes help meeeeee....what to dooooo i want see the rest of the game.

My email is [email protected] or [email protected].

Send me help pleaaaaase.
You're right, it happened to me too, and i dont know what can i do with it :-(
Me to thats happened for me also
Happened to me too :-( After the execution the game AI stops
Hello there, I'm experiencing the same problem, the game doesn't go further from the seppuku-scene. Tried to run the game normally, and with WSE, none of them worked... Is this because my version's not Steam, or am I just doing something wrong? (copied wse file from mod's dir to games main directory, etc...)
Sorry, my bad. Misunderstood the thing with WSE. For those, who experience this seppuku scene problem: copy the files from the mod's WSE-folder to warbands main directory, and start M&B with WSEloader - you will have to start a new game like this, it didn't work for my "non-WSE"-saves, but after this you should be able to advance from the seppuku-scene... There are other issues too (unarmed when participating in a tournament, after father's execution can't talk with anyone, because they all keep saying the same, what the daimyo said after the seppuku, etc.), but I guess this piece of jewel is still in the polishing process...

This mod is amazing and beautifull. There is always something new to be found arround. For example those so called "Noldor". First: improve relations with them. You can do this by helping them out, when they fight against someone, or you can fight them, knock them uncuncious with blunt weapons and take them as prisoners (though this is the harder way, because they are the hardest to fight against). After capturing them, go to the party menu and talk to them, there will be an option to let them go, each noldor elf released gives you +1 point relationship and you gain honour. The higher the relationship, the better (I fought them and released prisoners until I had a relationship rate of 35+). After this, go to the tavern in the town of Laria and speak with Quigfen, he will give you a quest to defeat the marauding jatu army in the woods located near Laria (they will be marked with blue). After you did this, Quigfen will tell you the location of the hidden city of the noldor, where you can trade with them, train and recruit noldor adventurers. One thing: attack the noldor only with elite troops (hero adventurers, jatu mercenaries, empire knights etc.), same goes against the jatu.

Dear Madball,
Thank you for your advise. I really apreciate your support. However I wrote that I found only the Noldor NPC. So far I saw not even a single Noldor or Noldor warband anywhere on the map. So I`m unable to fight or to help them. For now. I`ll check the area about Laria and hope to see them arround.
Since you were so kind I`d like to ask you for another problem I found just today. I`ve started a new game and became to fight for the Empire for some time. But at one point I saw that the recruited peasants could be upgraded only as infantry. Every castle and town, every lord have Empire cavalry but even the captured militia can not be upgraded as horseman of any type. I`v tried every other faction, just to be sure and I found nothing of the sort with them.
Thank you again for your help.
Yes, I forgot to mention: the noldor usually dwell in the woods near Laria, but they spawn randomly - there are times, when you encounter them more often, but sometimes you have to look for them for days. About the cavalry troops: faction specific elite cavalry units can not really be recruited, unless you have noble recruits (for example: d'shar nobleman or empire nobleman), if you have them, they can be upgraded. The problem is, that either you have to join a faction, or declare your own kingdom, have a castle or a city with training grounds built in it, after this, you can recruit nobles, who join you weekly (speak with the town/castle stewards). The other way is to free them from the enemy. The only problem is, that you can't recruit elite order knights (like windriders, shadow legion centurions, etc.). However, there are two factions, wich can provide you with non-noble cavalry units. One of them are the d'shar, you can upgrade their archers to dervish raiders, and the other faction is the Kingdom of Ravenstern, you can upgrade soldiers to mounted rangers (also from archer units) - these two are the strongest "regular" cavalry units. To be honest, I never recruited from villages until I had my own kingdom - I recruited nobles from taverns (young northern noble, for example), they can be upgraded to rogue knights or hero adventurers. You can also try speaking with ransom brokers (like Borgi the Fat or Swift Moonshadow), sometimes they offer you to ransom elite troops, like Bearclaw Berserkers or Knights of Eventide/Dawn, these units "punch hard".

There is another way: fight them, and knock them unconcious with blunt weapons (warhammers, iron maces, etc.) and take them as prisoners. After the battle go to the party menu, and talk to them, there will be an option at the conversation panel to let them go. Each noldor released gives you +1 relationship point, and you also gain honour

I do hope that i have a small question.
Battle formations does somethimes working.
most of the time not

and then i see a long line of units standing there.
And for the crossbowmen or archers i see only everytimes a long line of units standing there.

So please where could i change this to let it work fine.
and i mean not in camp to change in yes or no because that one is working somethimes with no and somethimes with yes.

so please let me no how and where.

thanks for this great game i love it but i love my wife more, sorry.

Every time you start with a new character, the default setting for formations is "on", so you always have to change it in the camp menu, when you start a new game... There may be a way to change this in one of the file's in the game's folder, but I'm not sure of it (the only things I've changed were the female characters faces' textures, because I like the Matriarch mod's female faces more... It's a pity that I don't know programming, because I'd also change the body textures, so the female characters without armour would be naked, just like in Matriarch :green: ).

Hi I'm kindof of new with the win-zip. How do I get this mod downloaded to work on my computer??(windows vista)

Just unpack it and put the unpacked folder in the game's "Modules" subfolder. When starting the game, choose "Prophesy of Pendor" at the top half of the appearing window, where it says "Current Module:". I've got vista too (though I use winrar, but unpacking is almost the same at winzip). You can try 7-zip too...

To be honest, I don't think it's unbalanced, it's just fine the way it is. All armies are hard to defeat, if you haven't found the correct strategy yet.

You can recruit lords after you captured them after a battle. If your relation with them is 20+ (I think)... Speak with them after capturing, there should be an option at the conversation panel to offer them vassalage. Your relation can go up by doing them missions, or release them in early battles. If you release them, your relationship goes up 5 points with that lord, plus you gain honour. The more honourable deeds you do, the more lords will like you, even those, who don't even know you yet...

I've downloaded this mod, it's awesome, my opinion is that this really is the best mod for M&B. I've played version 2.5 too, that was also great. But I've noticed 2 bugs (I don't know, if it's because I have vista or they really are bugs though...): 1. Veccavian Queen's Guards are often fighting bare handed (or they have a shield, but no weapon); 2. When fighting Heretic Priests who wear demonskin armour, their body is down on the ground, under their horses. Otherwise, the mod is running nicely, fantastic piece of work, thank you and cheers :pint:
