Description
Mod Armed V. 1.01 for Mount & Blade 1.011
It is based on Rebalance v. 1.2. for Native
Game play:
1. Possibility to take peasants in villages.
2. Possibility to cause any king or the lord on a duel. Mutual relations with the caused rise or fall depending on result of duel.
3. Lords always are taken prisoner now.
4. Any captured can be gathered, i.e. you can take all things from him. (If some soldiers of one type, things get only from one) (things at lords are not restored, even after it will redeem).
5. It is possible to look characteristics of any captured.
6. It is possible to trade with any captured.
7. In weapon shop sell fire-arms.
8. Skill "Fire-arms" is displayed
9. The volume of money in shops is increased.
10. Possibility to change group arms! In this case you change arms of one person, but all group re-equips.

Units:
1. Each fraction had an officer. (Will appear only from time to time)
2. Each gang had a serious leader.
3. Kings are considerably strengthened. Carry elite or unique (in game) weapon. They are very dangerous.
4. There is a probability in game to meet Amazon the Jaguar, among mountain gangsters. It is very strong.
5. At all lords an armor, horses and at some helmets are replaced.
6. The development tree of peasant are upgraded .(pikemans, musketeers)
7. New development tree at a female line of peasants - Amazon and its progress is created.

Ornaments:
1. Natural royal flags (if not to choose initial flags they will get to "historical" kings) are created
2. 70 helmets are added. Characteristics all different.
3. It is added 150 (mitten, lamellar, mail and leather) an armour. All characteristics different.
4. Some gloves and a boot are added.
5. 50 swords (one-manual, one-and-a-half, two-manual) are added. All characteristics different.
6. 40 pikes and bardiche (short, long, lance) all characteristics different are added.
7. Some not heraldic boards are added.

9. 15 axes are added. All characteristics different.
10. 12 hammers are added. All characteristics different.
11. It is added 18 pistols and muskets. All characteristics different.
12. 58 horses are added. All characteristics different.

Can you upgrade a hero to lord so he might roam the land and build an army for himself who will serve you??

This is really funny. Duels are cool, chance to build own style army from village elder recruited units is AWESOME (renamed tiers for myself :X) :hammer: i just dont like items (weapons, armors, horses) with same names and VERY different statistics :-?

Yes, it was randomize function to item statistics. But we will change that in next update. Please, watch out forum. And sorry for my bad english....

Just a tip.
I think when you say "two-manual", you mean two-handed.

"one-handed" (held in one hand)
"two-handed" (uses both hands, No shield possible)
"One-handed/two-handed" (can be used as both, if you use shield, it will be one handed, and if you don't you will hold it like a two handed).

Anyways, you mentioned muscets, wonder how that works.

I haven't played it, but you should also make people use armors typical for their soldier class, and faction, making their soldiers recognizable on the battlefield.
Khergit knights, should only wear lamellar (I think it's named that) armor and so on.
It would also be cool to directly recruit high tier troops in forts, if we're a lord of that faction, or serving them as a mercenary, and also we need good reputation with the forts owner, +25 or something like that.
Only troops belonging to that faction, and they're expensive to buy, so that training them from peasants is cheaper.

Great man!

It would be a really cool addition to the game if you can actually have your own lord.
If its possible I humbly propose task the lord should do on there own or be order to do.

1. Build an army of there own.(that the lord pays for maybe even send a procentage of his loot or whatever.

2.Collect taxes from various cities/villages

3.Follow you around if you want

4.Manage cities/villages that you give the lord.

basicly most things you do for other lords earlier in the game.

I think this will make the game better.
After a while the only thing you do is colecting money to give to your army and keeping the enemy at bay.
There's almost no time left for conquering.

And I understand that this will mean alot of work for you, it's only some thoughts that might improve the expirince.
For all I know it might not even work.

I just 'bought' one of the kings :D

I like the dueling, however, it is quite easy to win if you have two rifles, for each is loaded before. So you shoot directly with the first, quickly take the second and shoot again and the lord should be down ...

I got some trouble with my own faction, as I have to wait each time till it says, this village has no lord. I remember there was a way to do everything on the faction in the camp-menu.

you need to download a 'RAR file reader' they are free online. Then once you have downloaded this mod you can extract it to your mount & blade folders. I have just done this and it worked for me.

anyone else noticed some missing weapon sounds? f.e. one musket i bought is missing the firing sound. everything else is great :)

A real good Mod, but, it's like a way to "game over".

You fight with some lords, get lots of money, "buy" them all, and that's it. It's over! :-(

Excellent job man, I love it and play it alot. We need to focus on major mod compilation, make one huge mod adding all of the best, weapons, armor, kingdom managment, etc. Great job. One of my favorites. :-D

Alex, I was wondering if you are going to release the source files for this mod, I have some great ideas..there is a shield bash script available I would love to implement into this mod, and some others. The mod alone is great, this would just make it insane.

Alex, thank you for all your work on this mod. I have truly enjoyed playing it.

The firearms are inaccurate at aiming, as they should be historically. If we had accurately-aimed firearms, we should call it "Mount & Gun". As it is, my cavalary and even heavy infantry can take out most gunners with ease.

The variety of weapons and armor is wonderful - adds much to flavor the game and I do enjoy it.

The addition of a leader to the looters and raiders is good, too. It gives color to the combat and keeps it challenging. When I can convince the leaders to join my team, they are a great addition.

If there was a way to figure out how to rectify this RGL Error issue that comes up every so often (even in the Native 1.011) I'd be 100% happy and content with this game. But again, Alex, your mod is excellent. Thank you.
