Hmm... I wonder what the purpose of this download is...
ummm....i see no point downloading this

the point of this download relly is to prolly make the game seem more rellistic. cuz wen u running arouind cutting the shit outta ppl, u aint goona say "hey i wonder how much damage i can take bfore i go down!!!" or "wen is my shield gonna brake, oh i no, ill jus look at my... wat evr the fuck ur corner view is called." jus makes the game seem more rellistic. ths mod along wit the enb blooms and all would make the game seem perfect, if u can get the enb to work. good work wit this i gotta say. screw those fags who put u down.
The point is to not have pointless shit cluttering your screen, and make it a little more realistic.
Be a little less ignorant before you go bashing people's work, little assholes.
I haven't the slightest idea why people would find this a stupid update.
Personally I'm really happy with it, I've got a 1680 x 1050 display and I don't like low resolution HUD elements taking up more space than bare minimum.
Thanks a million Moss, I was hoping for a minimal hud mod since I got the game (only a bit ago). Also give you props for the multiple flavors, I run borderless healthbar no shield, it's great.
Now I just need to find a high resolution GUI mod

Could be better. i understand that this if for realism, but the entire point of a health bar is to simulate the fact that humans feel pain, thus allowing them to know if they are hurt or in near perfect condition. If you could add something that would indicate the roughly state of health, IE, heart beats and a reddening of the screen, then that would certainly attract more people. As is, i can see if i am damaged or not.
the original system is fine u noobs!

Lol Its still a game

What Purpose?

Ow lol

Pointless?

True. Since characters in Mount&Blade don't seem to show any indications of being half-dead or somesuch (eg. limping, constant bleeding) other than being painted in red, it's especially hard for the player character to determine when he's gonna bite the dust.
keinve's ideas are quite nice. The addition of heart beats and/or distortions to the screen would really add to the experience. Though I'm not sure if that's possible to code into the mods.
How many updates more?

actually, this is less realistic. in this, there is no way to tell how wounded you are, when in real life, the pain from missing part of your arm would probably clue you in. the only thing you have going for you in this is how bloddy your armor is, but i tend to have rather high amounts of HP, so that's not too acurate for me. an arrow to the head also causes less blood, and more damage.
i dont know why im wasting a whole 2 seconds of my life even typing this comment to a mod so pointless ass this...

I think this mod is like a two-edged blade. Personally, I think removing the Shield Health Icon is good, because you'll have less distraction (And if you break your shield, you can pick one up right on the battlefield anyway, and most high-level shields tend NOT to break). But on the other hand, without any HP bar, it will be a pain if you start a new game and you're ambushed by a horde of Huscarl or Knight Deserters, as you have no idea what's your max HP except through the Character screen. What I'm saying is, remove the Shield icon, but keep the HP.

Read the description again. You choose what you want to change when you install it.

Ah, I didn't see that, thanks
Hey great thanks for the mod!
One question tho, is it possible to remove the commands hud, I use voice activation and I don't need that interface anymore.
I would really appreciate if u could do a mini mod for that !!!!
Thanks.
