STAR WARS CONQUEST

Description:

This is a Star Wars mod for Mount & Blade 1.010/1.011. There are three factions in the game: Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, and the Hutt Cartel. Each faction includes over 12 different troops (Jedi, Sith, Stormtroopers, Commando's, Scout Troopers, Rebel Pilots, Skiff Guards, etc) and the mercenaries in the game have been switched to various aliens like Wookiees, Gamorreans, Twileks, Rodians, Trandoshans, and others. All textures for the user interface and in towns/castles/villages have been switched and the map has been switched to a space texture with planets. The Training and Quick Battles have been modified and the Custom Battle Mod and other functionality have also been integrated. Scene editing is in progress and many of the major planets have been modified.



NOTE: Unfortunately, I no longer have time to work on Star Wars Conquest, but Swyter and the rest of the team are continuing to further improve this mod. For updates and downloads to SWC I recommend checking the ModDB page below since that will be more updated than this page in the future.

I play this all the time but i have a question it says theres a script error everythime theres a certain battle not sure which it is but its there also if i export a character from a different save on this game can i hire them in my other file? and if so how can i find a certain hero?

Just uploaded 9.0.1 which is primarily a bug fix for 0.9.0. This SHOULD be saved game compatible so just delete/rename your old 0.9.0 folder and install this into the modules directory because it has the same name.

When i download the file it down in 1 sec and when i try to extract it it says cannot extract file is invalid. So i go to a list where the file is and when i try to extract it is says file empty......please insert files to zip folder before unzipping. Anyone know why?

How do i disable my dl manager and i cant find any other sites. they all have links but lead back to this site.

Hey i've been tracking your game for a long time, its gone far.. amazing stuff. I was wondering though how you got so much clone troopers? I would like to get a whole lot. If anyone knows can some one tell me? thanks

Hokie,

This mod is amazing I have to say you've really done a great job. Anyone who is a fan of star wars should give this one a try.

However, it needs work my friend. I have a very bad problem with my game crashing. My computer itself can run the game no problem, however I keep having crash when I am moving around or if I am about to engage someone in battle. I don't know what happened, I had been playing the game up to about day 40 and then it started crashing. I thought I may have gotten a virus to I reformated my computer and update all my drivers to the current version. Simply put it's not helping me and I really want to play the game but this is starting to become a nussance.

When this is fixed I'll swear by this game.

I am currently redownloading the mod to see if that will help it any.

It doesnt work, i just get an error message whenever i try to extract it on windows 7. :-( any suggestions?

Try running M&B in XP mode, right-click M&B icon and go to compatibility, choose XP with whatever servic pack and click ok, this worked for me.

Dont have that version of 7. I've tried with admin privileges, but still wont work. not even the godmode folder helps!

This is probably a really silly question but are you planning to port this over to warband? I'm only asking because I'm really impressed with what you've managed to do with M&Bs serious limitations. Like to see what you could manage with the updated engine.

Star Wars Conquest 0.9.0.2 was just released, this is primarily a bug fix to try and fix the random crashes on the world map that can corrupt save games. This should be saved game compatible, but will not fix a old saved game if it is already corrupted. If that is the case you will need to start a new saved game, sorry for the trouble.

I use to have a huge jedi army but then I was besieging a planet and I took too much damage to fight so I sent my troops by themselves and I took DRAMATIC losses compared to what I would have lost if I was there. Why does this happen and I took over like ten huge imperial planets for Mon Mothma and she refuses to give every single one of them to me and every general refuses to follow me why won't they give them to me?

Well, i dont know (and dont think) you´ ve played mount&blade often before, for that are vanilla "issues".
When you not around the AI fights on itsself, AI = dumb like shit >:)

Same for the fiefs (planets) you conquer for an liege.
You will get one, maybe two fiefs, the other will be given to others generals.
The other generals only follow you when you raise the relationsship with them by doing quest (unless you are the Marshall, then they are a little more supportive).

So found your own "kingdom" and give ´em hell, non serviam >:) .
