STAR WARS CONQUEST

Description:

This is a Star Wars mod for Mount & Blade 1.010/1.011. There are three factions in the game: Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, and the Hutt Cartel. Each faction includes over 12 different troops (Jedi, Sith, Stormtroopers, Commando's, Scout Troopers, Rebel Pilots, Skiff Guards, etc) and the mercenaries in the game have been switched to various aliens like Wookiees, Gamorreans, Twileks, Rodians, Trandoshans, and others. All textures for the user interface and in towns/castles/villages have been switched and the map has been switched to a space texture with planets. The Training and Quick Battles have been modified and the Custom Battle Mod and other functionality have also been integrated. Scene editing is in progress and many of the major planets have been modified.



NOTE: Unfortunately, I no longer have time to work on Star Wars Conquest, but Swyter and the rest of the team are continuing to further improve this mod. For updates and downloads to SWC I recommend checking the ModDB page below since that will be more updated than this page in the future.

for the record i was refering to a step by step of what to do when it comes to messing with files n folder im semi retarded lol any help wold be greatly apreciated btw look at everyaspect of this mod has great potential. a reply asap would be nice also i am literally frothing at the mouth to play this mod.

to install this mod, the concept would be the following:

1) download this file to your computer
2) it is a ZIP file, so you will need to un-zip it. If you right-click in windows you should be able to 'extract' it, otherwise download software from winzip.com
3) Then, copy the extracted 'Star Wars Calradia 0.5' folder to your M&B Modules folder. For example, C:\Program Files\Mount&Blade\Modules\
4) once the folder is in there, you should be able to choose 'Star Wars Calradia 0.5' from the drop-down when you start M&B

uuuh, I found a bit of a glitch. some times whne I go to the arms/armour merchants the game crashes and the screen turns white...please try and fix this in the next version, I think its a realy cool mod aside from that.

I just fixed that random crash and removed the gallop animation in this 0.5.1 release.

I believe your saved games should be compatible but you would have to manually move them to the new saved games folder. For example, C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\My Documents\Mount&Blade Savegames\Star Wars Calradia 0.5\ to ..\0.5.1\

Pretty fun but the map is so boring. I know its hard to make a good map in space but you could add in some suns or something. The flat map makes it really hard to find any combat and can get pretty frustrating

I just realized that the boring map and lack of enemies to fight is due to the limited number of armies for each faction. I eliminated 3 factions (60 armies) but did not increase the number for the other two factions. I hope to release a quick 0.5.2 patch that will add an additional 30 armies per faction. From my testing this makes the world map a LOT better. See the Taleworlds forums for more information.

the tuskans (is that how u spell it?) and their weapon need some work and the stormtroper darktropper etc. helm are raised too much, they kinda float off.The rebel pilot armour is dreadfull and it would be kool if u could make a spaceship floor instead of "going to the nearest planet" thing :-D :-D

overall its a good mod and i see a bright future 9/10 :-P :-P

i couldnt agree more 10/10 keep up the good work.in the distant future u could think of adding another faction in i woulda said droids but thsi mod focasus on the older star wars story lines.
