Description
Town Troops 0.9


Basicly this mod changes M&B native from faction-based troops to town-based troops.

Most of natives troops and upgrade tree have been reworked.

Each town produces its own troops - castles, cities and parties are recruiting from all towns of the faction. Rich Town get more high level troops than poor Towns.

Town Troops can be recruited in taverns, chances to get them are based on players relation to the faction and the town.

Special champions can be hired in castles, if the player has good relations to the castles lord.

Players can still recruit Village Voluntieers, but those can only be upraded to militias.

  • aviable troops based on towns
  • reworked all of native troops except for bandits
  • adds scout, patrol and deserter parties

* removed some bugs
* added some new armor textures

Changes to 0.6:

* Town spawn Scouts, Patrols and (when poor) deserters
* NPC Partys can now recruit new troops in faction towns. Castle Lords can get powerful when recruiting champions from their castles. Recruiting can damaga the citys prosperity.
* Town Walkers are now depended on the towns faction.
* removed some weird messages I left for bughunting.

Great ideas,

I keep getting errors every night, and it seems to add another line onto the error every night thereafter. "line 17, consequences invalad group id"

No major crashes, just seems to off balance things a bit.
seems you have peasants.. and men at arms, personally I would like to see a few more in-between troops. Though, I am a fan of huge mobs of fodder.

Yes.. I have 10 nights, but your going to have to beat your way through 500 screaming idiots armed with pitch forks and sticks with nails sticking out of them before you get to me.


Also all the troops of the same type look exactly alike, I like some randomness.

Anyway, thanks for the mod, played for an hour. :-P
