DaBlade soundpack V. 1.2

This is the result of my efforts to enhance M&B battle sound effects, based on the previous work from Arbalest (Warrider soundpack). With his permission I bring you this reworked and (hopefully) improved soundpack for M&B.

  • Compatible with M&B .89x.

  • Uses native "sounds.txt" file.

  • Nearly all battle sound effects edited or replaced with new ones.

  • Balance between sounds totally reworked.

  • Sample rate of sound files converted from 44.100 to 22.050 KH to decrease file size (you will not notice any loss of quality).

File History
Version history:

- Several sounds changed/edited for better balance and increased realism.
- New bow sound.
- New throw sound.

- Changed sound *sword_hit_hi_armor_hi_dmg_1.ogg*.
- Changed sound *bow_shoot_4.ogg* (bow sound).
- Edited sound *s_swordSwing.wav* (weapon swing sound).
- Added battle horse sounds (just edited native horse sounds to have more punch and low end).

- First public release

If I've already added by hand some sound effects not in the Vanilla game, can I install these and will they work?

Yes, they'll work. Make sure you make a backup of you "Sounds" folder before overriting those files, in case you want to revert back to how it was before.

Read the "readme.txt" file for instructions; it's all in there.
