THE EAGLE AND THE RADIANT CROSS: STRUGGLE FOR BERMIA

It's year 1426.

No more than 14 years ago, the Laurian king, Luis Loher, seized the Duchy of Apulia, assuring for himself a bridge-head to the fertile Bermianese valleys.

On the East, fearing a Laurian conquest of the rich inland and the richer ports of Bermia, Haelmarian king Iohan IV does the same, preparing for a full-scale invasion of the Eastern Bank of river Eridanus.

In the middle, Bermianese petty duchies, republics and principalities look at this as one of the countless invasions of the past, knowing little about the refinment of Laurian administration and military.

For the Bermianese, it may be the last free spring.

This is essentially a mod based on a previous mod.
But quite a good one, in my opinion.

Also thanks to Somebody, who did the awesome port of teatrc to WB and helped me whenever i was in need wit SFB.
Thanks to Captured Joe for his great dialogues for the new set of npcs.


CURRENT FEATURES:

- 8 New factions, complete with appropriate Claimants.
- New map
- New items, merchandise and unique.

- Lots of new troops
- New mercenaries with backstory.
- Naval battles code by ruthven
- Formations (by Chel, edited by D'Sparil)
- Recruiter's kit

- lots and lots of tweaks and stuff.
- Lots of New Lore & Background stories
- Many hidden references to Movies and History!
- Live the experience of italian Reinassance and late middle-age without the unsubstainable weight of historical learning!
- Join the Alma Mater and fight to spread the light of knowledge in the world!

HOW THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM TEATRC

-Bermia is no Calradia, first of all. A completely new map awaits you.
-pike&shot vs pavise&crossbow: more infantry-focused battles (yes! it's possible!).
-a different feeling.
-less firearms (i know, i love them too. But they just don't fit the timeframe).
-of course, different factions, troops, items etc.

Its unplayable for by now, and by the number of issues i dont think we going to get a miracle fix anytime soon.

Thanks for the report, although i think you should sign up in the forums where a better discussion is possible.
Anyway, those are not things i touched, so i thing it depends on the base code i used for the mod.

Hey good news! MY MOUNT AND BLADE WORKS AGAIN!:D so yes i have been playing strugge for bermia more and more, i decided to make my own kingdom:) but when i persuaded Marquis Sancho (laurian kingdom) to join my kingdom. his name turned to "lord knight 4 7" any help to change it back?

Read the in-game note section - basically grab recruits from training grounds (after finishing training), then talk to various npcs, win tournaments, loot stuff etc for custom equipment.

Add the following in module_dialogs, recompile, talk to the lord in cheat mode.

How long does it take for them to finish training? i've put farmers in the training grounds, received watchmen when i went to get them and i still can't upgrade them
and what npc's do you recomend to talk to?

The custom troop tree is upgraded from arena fighters which should become available (and also upgrade from townsmen) slowly in the training grounds once you've finished the training. You talk to merchants in towns or friendly npc lords in your faction to requisition equipment. Press L and go to the notes tab, as there should be more vague information there.

any chance you upload this file to another location like maybe www.moddb.com or other sites ?? i've been trying to download this file for a week and i keep getting REALLY slow downloads

(i have a 10 MBP's connection and i dont have this problem anywhere else so it must be the repository's location or routing)
