Description
This is version 0.6 BETA of Cursus Honorum. It is an incomplete version of the game intended mainly for the testing of the new map. The troops trees of new factions, the lords and the bandits are NOT complete yet, the game should still be playable though. Please refer to the thread for further information.
If you find any bugs etc. please post them on the thread.
Features: New factions- 12 factions: Rome, Gaul, Illyria, Etruria, Greeks, Carthage, Samnium, Syracuse, Epirus, Messana, Massilia, Liguria.
New units and items for the factions! (Thanks to Llew for Roman items with help from Narf for an armour, GothicKnight for Italian items, Yoman for some helmets and Faradon for some swords)
Includes a Camel! (Thanks to IYI-O-R-T and spak)
Thanks to leondrojas_ for the map! Thanks to Specialist for the sarissa model!
Thanks to all the contributors on the thread! I hope I haven't missed anyone out.

This is a singleplayer campaign.

Known bugs etc.: Opcode error comes up at the start, not sure of its significance yet
New Faction leaders don't have banners

Due to a misunderstanding some models have now been removed, they will be replaced with other models later but for now there will be noticable gaps in the Greek faction.
Have patience, this will soon be solved.

tbh I just opened up my Warband and it said version 1.131 so I put that. I'm not really sure what the difference is though, it could well work in both.

good work i think there are a few things you could do to improve such as

a map of europe north aferica and west asia instead of the native map
more factions (spain egypte carthage thracie seleucian empire)
some new mountable animals (you did a great job on the camels) suggestions are donkey's and elephants
turn romain castless into wooden encampents and think of some more names (such as massilia)

i know its all a lot of work but i hope you can do something with this

keep up the good work

Thanks.

Yeah i wanted a map but i dont know how to do that myself, if you know any mapmakers who'd be interested in making a map for this great that'd be great.
I dont have models for those other factions yet, although i do have some thracian stuff so can make thracian bandits or something. I could prob use another modeller for carthage e.g.
I had been thinking of changing the castles. As for names, you up for being a researcher for that? It would really help me out.

i mean i cant get the program to work on my pc somehow and i think its not good for my blood presure to try it again lol

well i found a map that would be helpfull in northern europe there wherent city's by that time but then again you made a early roman modd and rome dident concuer germany untill 50 ad or so
i think it would be best if you found a map maker or find a way to make maps to change some things of this map such as

Roemisches-Reich-200-v.jpg

change the roman territoria in spain in to carthage
change eastern orange country into seleucian empire
give panonia a celtic culture such mean barbarian soldiers and so

i have been thinking of some (i think things that are easy to create) to replace some objects such as

arabian horse maby you can make this some faster then most other horses
hoplite spear a long spear

i hope this helps you some

i see you found some of your inspiration in rome total war is that right?

Yeah, that kind of map would be good. Prob just have a focus on mediterranean not England and Germany but will see how it goes, will need a map maker to start although now that you mention it, I think i recall a mod called Europe 1200 having a good map but maybe it did not have north Africa.

Will need some models for Carthage, as for Seleucids, I have a Phrygian helmet (i think that is what its called-the one the pikemen wear in Rome Total War) so that is a start.

Good points about the arabian horse and hoplite spear, will see about putting that in. I just didnt want to have a spear too long which makes it annoying to use.

Yeah, I got the unit ideas from Rome Total War, tried to make some of them quite similar, its an awesome game.

Thanks for the ideas.

Thanks, I am glad you like it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt an online server only for multiplayer mods? Because this isnt multi (not yet anyway).
