Description
This is version 0.6 BETA of Cursus Honorum. It is an incomplete version of the game intended mainly for the testing of the new map. The troops trees of new factions, the lords and the bandits are NOT complete yet, the game should still be playable though. Please refer to the thread for further information.
If you find any bugs etc. please post them on the thread.
Features: New factions- 12 factions: Rome, Gaul, Illyria, Etruria, Greeks, Carthage, Samnium, Syracuse, Epirus, Messana, Massilia, Liguria.
New units and items for the factions! (Thanks to Llew for Roman items with help from Narf for an armour, GothicKnight for Italian items, Yoman for some helmets and Faradon for some swords)
Includes a Camel! (Thanks to IYI-O-R-T and spak)
Thanks to leondrojas_ for the map! Thanks to Specialist for the sarissa model!
Thanks to all the contributors on the thread! I hope I haven't missed anyone out.

This is a singleplayer campaign.

Known bugs etc.: Opcode error comes up at the start, not sure of its significance yet
New Faction leaders don't have banners

Due to a misunderstanding some models have now been removed, they will be replaced with other models later but for now there will be noticable gaps in the Greek faction.
Have patience, this will soon be solved.

Question?
Shouldn't Carthage have more African troops such as the Numidians seeing as they originated from Tunisia? Also Carthage did have Gauls in their army.
Overall I think this is a great mod and with a little bit of help in troop editing, and more items you could make it one of the better mods.

Yeah I intend to do more or less as you say, I have some nice Carthage models now so the next version will have unique Carthage troops!
I had also thought of giving them Numidian Cavalry and Iberian infantry for example as mercs

Sounds Good
Also if you need help with some history, or just some ideas in general I could be of some service.

Yeah, it would be great if you could research the Etruscan military, I had trouble finding something reliable (pics of soldiers/names etc.)
Also, names for Etruscan/Samnite generals etc. if possible around 300BC.
Thanks. Post anything you find on the thread at Taleworlds please as I don't always check here.

Dude just one major problem with this. I don't know if it's the server or what. but Everytime I try to unrar this huge list of errors comes up (close, debug, break operations) on the thousands of files in your mod. This is the seventh time I've downloading it and it completes downloading everytime so it's not an incomplete download. Any tips of hints? cheers

Something must be wrong or you never changed it yet but it says take a caravan to swadia and the other vanilla factions and than i end up in the gauls after i clicked swadia so i must of downloaded wrong or you guys didnt change the starting part.

ohh yea and improve your linthorax's texturing it looks to flat.

Anyways i love this mod but when you have time you should edit this mod and make a not as early rome mod because these romans need better helmets, and you need spartans

Most of your questions have been covered in the sub-forum on taleworlds, but I shall clarify: this is not multiplayer, but there may be a multiplayer aspect in the future.
You haven't downloaded wrong I simply have not edited all the text, this is still a BETA which means it is unfinished.

Please post the comment about linthorax on the forum as I do not do the models.

I am glad you like it, I am aware that there is still much to do but as I am at my 2nd yr at uni I have recently had too much work to spare much time on this I'm afraid. I have not forgotten about it though and will continue sometime in June, when exams etc. ends.
