SnD's Polished Native is a small compilation of scripts, small mods and graphical improvements for Warband

Update:

Changelog 0.6:
Changed some textures ( armors, made the night skybox dark instead of blue, etc)
Added Ethik Mantis Better banners V2
Added the Freelancer mod by ithilienranger, Caba'Drin, Sunhawken, Taragoth, RevaShan, Swyter , Duh, Cernunos, monnikle , Idibil, Somebody
Description:
Currently this mod allows the player to enlist in a lord's army with the opportunity to gain experience and money. Follow your Lord where ever they go, fighting many enemies and gaining ranks as you continue as a single member of your Lords army. Each time you gain a rank you will be supplied with new equipment and gain a higher pay. Once you get bored with this career you can either desert or mutiny. While in your Lords service you gain the respect of your fellow soldiers and there's always a chance that some of your acquaintances will become followers and join you in your revolution or desertion! As will prisoners, but will they work with you or against you?....

Features:


• Opportunity to gain ranks
• New equipment & higher pay for each rank
• Ability to desert the army and take followers with
• Ability to revolt against the lord and release prisoners
• Ability to go on personal leave and remain part of commanders army.
• Interact with commander in a meeting scene
• Ask commander personally to retire from service
• No need to hold space bar while commander travels
• Take prisoners and hold some of them for ransom (Lords)
• Quartermaster hands you food when you are low.

This can't be done this way it must be fixed in the module system and not in txt file, i've already seen the hotfix and it get's rid of the "Speak with the commander bug" I am just waiting for a more complete fix then i will integrate the fix in the mod.

GREAT MOD. but I REALLY hate the animation for the spear, just because I can't use it on horse, and was wondering if there's a way to get rid of it without getting rid of other animations. Also I'm not great with this sort of thing, so could someone give me a 'dumbed down' explanation. But again I love this mod so if you can't it's not too bad.

Seek n Destroy - The new release of Freelancer works pretty well. Seems much better and error free. anyway you could integrate the new version of freelancer into this mod? mod looks good btw

Is this mod at all compatible with V1.143 at all? Furthermore, will it ever be?

I own MnB:W on Steam and all updates are applied by the platform -- would there be a way to revert version number on Steam?

You can download the game through the taleworlds site and use the key you bought from steam, that's what I do so you do not have the annoying auto updates even if you turn it off and don't have to worry about being connected to steam.

The mod should be compatible with 1.142/1.143 and later on i will port this mod to 1.143 , I am just waiting for some content to put in the mod that justifies porting it.

Hey I just recently Downloaded ths mod and it said "error,couldn't process small tree#" Any idea on how I can get this fixed??

I have seen such an error happen before and I think that by replacing:
load_mod_resource = grass_meshes
load_mod_resource = grass_meshes_b
in the module.ini by:
load_resource = grass_meshes
load_resource = grass_meshes_b

hmm well I went to the polished mod file but what showed up were 6 individual files and but one, the files names were (sg00 and up to sg04) and I have downloaded this mod a couple of times.

Well I don't wanna bother you, I really would just love to play your mod with the weapons and armor from floris expanded, or if you ended up eventually adding other weapons in your mod. Brytenwalda might not be stable for a while.

Something odd happened after I started using this, it would seem that although I have edited the cattle to follow you in the menu.txt file they do not follow you when using this module, is there a way to fix this? Also is there a mod out there for Warband where caravans will automatically go to their destination and you need only right click them and select accompany?
