IMPORTANT THIS MOD IS RUNNING AGAIN
[
all the dissapering problems are fixed but since we have started from scratch its gonna take atleast a week before upload also we have interrogated it with diplomacy and we are working on getting a map of europe. new items have also been added and medieval items deleted. the fantasy items is gone to




it has a new faction Rome new troops mounts armors and weapons

Features


This is a pre alpha realese so please do not download if you are expecting a full version there is only 2 factions with troop trees and items currently but i will upload
a alpha realese next week. all the old bugs is already fixed though

Great i shall check it out again, as that was a bit of an annoyance before checking out the mod properly.

I have a theory to the disappearing armor. I noticed that all of your custom made items have a 0% to troop moral attached to it. It is my belief that the items are being mistaken as a food item. This would explain the disappearing of some armor and the disappearing stacks in stacked weapons. Also would explain the non-disappearing armor on Heroes.

Regarding the update:
I like the direction the mercenaries are headed, good work there. I am a little concerned with all the new items in the last update as they venture further from the Roman Era (but i must admit some of those new items are pretty sweet, and i can see why you would add them). The item disappearing bug is still there for me, hopefully the previous comment helps to solve it or get it going in the right direction. I also like the increase to rebel unit sizes (ie looters, bandits, etc).

What I would like to see in the not so near future releases:
I would love to see the arena fights get revamped with roman gear (gladiators at the ready!), more custom armor available in the marketplace ( i guess a way to do this, after fixing the bug, is to implement less of the native items), and i think you are already planing to make more factions (i saw in the description in one point about making egypt)

In the really far future: A revamped map of Europe stretching from Britannia to Egypt.

I really believe this mod will be epic in the long haul, I do have programing experience (python,c,cpp) but I have not worked on the source code of Mount&Blade before (lucky for me its in python :D). Hopefully I will find time to learn some of the basic coding methods for m&b and hopefully you will be still working on this mod by the time i learn it.

After checking it out a bit further when starting your own faction i did notice the captains that join you are turned into lords, so maybe an idea to get the same system in with the swadian/roman faction. And add so you get more options if you do own your own faction. diplomacy/recruitment wise etc..

first of all thanks for your respons second your thory was wrong but hope is not lost gonna make some new items wich looks like the same in futere update.
third the arena thing yeah i thought of that too it would be relly cool just cant do it myself. furth i have tried diplomacy but it dosent seems to be combitable but when we get a coder he can hopefully fix that.

Well we have run in to a little problem or 2 actually first my net dosent work so cant relly upload anything and i havent heard anything from my texturer so we need some textures in the mod so i have no idea when the next version comes sorry

I got some ideas for factions


you have:
Swadia=Rome
Nords=Gauls
Vaegirs=Vaegirs
Khergits=Khergits
Rhodoks=Rhodoks
Sarranids=Sarranids/ but with Egyptians

I honestly would keep Swadia as Rome, but I would change the Nords to Germanic Tribes, Vaegirs=Gauls, Khergits=Scythia, Rhodock=Greeks, and the Sarranids to Egypt lol even though you have the Sarranids with Egyptian Soldiers.

Also if your going to have it so that Romans can have larger armies then make it so that you can buy bread and other food sources in 500/500 instead of 50/50.
The Mercenary idea is brilliant I have no advice for that lol

other than a few glitches its a great mod.

Of the advice you gave me and i know that the eqypt is quite bad but i need textures and my net still dont work and i got some problems with the greek textures im hoping of getting an upload next month but as said im gonna need some time to

sorry for the long wait time seems like things are about to get back on track again with some help from caius who have made the new items for the greeks and zimke whos
gonna try to fix the bug with the dissapearing so i guess ill have a new version at the end of this month
