Description
This mod is an update of the known and loved Native game, with 4 new factions each of which has a very loose basis on a real-world country and/or culture.

All of the current factions benefit from an updated troop tree (or at least will eventually, I'm sort of lazy. :D)
At the moment all factions are available in multiplayer. The multiplayer isn't exactly balanced. The Nihon seem to own pretty much everyone and the Khergit Scorpions are extremly good as well. But this is an alpha and the new items still need to be sorted out.

The 4 new factions:

The Crown of Lyonesse: I know the name doesn't imply it but these guys are based off medieval Spain. Jinetes, Almughavars, Rodeleros all make an appearance. The colour is bright red and they are also in the desert between the Rhodoks and the Sarranids more or less.

The Nihon Shogunate: Not a very original name but it gets the point across. Situated to the south of the Saranids, the Nihon Shogunate are inspired by the Japanese culture and have three towns. Kanjii, Katakana and Hiragana. Yes I just picked the first Japanese words my sister could find off the internet but hey? Samurai, Ashigaru, Yabusame and more are to be found. (I've noticed from another couple of mods that feature Samurai that TaleWorlds has some real students of Japanese history. I must state now that this is a. not historical and b. I know crap-all about Japanese history. But that doesn't matter to me. Samurai are cool. Their colour is dark blue.

The Vorroks Clans: The name is set to be changed I only used it because I originally got the idea from Jubal's excellent Southern Realms mod. (That mod was great except the bears. They never worked for me.) The stereotypical medieval highlanders. Their colour is brown and the are situated to the north of the Vaegirs.
The Halrond Confederation: They are based off medieval welsh, irish and english. I was originally going to put the scotsmen in here too but my sister likes the Scottish accent so they got a faction of their own. They are in between Rhodoks and Swadia and are greyish blue.

I'm considering adding some new factions if I can get someone to possibly extend the map a little. Not a new one just open the boundries a little and I can scrunch the Native factions a little to make some room. I'm currently taking suggestions for new factions.

KNOWN BUGS:
Single Player doesn't really work. The scenes for all the new places are quite buggy. And only the Lyonessian troop tree actually has the right items out of the new factions. All the other new factions are just Swadian clones. The scenes are not high on my list of priorities but the troop trees are.
Multiplayer seems not to pick up the ruler's weapons that I put in. This will be fixed with the next update.
No new banners and stuff. Doesn't stop Multiplayer enjoyment but it does seem to cause error messages in Single Player. This is also about to be remedied.
No option to play as Khergit Scorpion. Mainly cause I was too lazy to implement as a player option.

If any more are spotted please let me know and I will endeavour to fix it.

Hey that's uncalled for. It's not too bugged its simply not got full Single Player support yet, Multiplayer still works. It was mainly an attempt to see how much people like the new factions. But hey feel free to download and then tell me what you think. As it is now you haven't actually seen it have you? So commenting might be a little bit unnecessary right? And anyway I don't feel as if I'm too lazy just a little thing thing called real life gets in the way.

Gee thanks  And fair enough for not wanting to play mutiplayer 24/7. Neither do I. And I'm sorry I sort of went off at you, the cats just shat on my sheets so I was a little pissed off. But please don't be sarcastic, I went to fair bit of effort to release this. I've only actually been working on it for about 2 and a half weeks. And I've had other stuff to do. Suffice to say this isn't the only modding project I've been working on. But thanks for taking the time to look at the thread I suppose.

I haven't gotten a chance to play multiplayer, but I have gotten to toy around with the mod's single player. At this point I have only played as the two factions representing Scotland and Ireland. So far I have enjoyed it, and I like how rather than cutting up the territories of the original factions, you added to the maps. However, there is only two things that I have a problem with. I was disappointed that the Halfrond Confederation's troops only get upgraded twice, whereas (provided I remember correctly) all other factions seems to get at least three, and historically the Irish were able to hold their own against the Vikings on a regular basis. (e.g. Ivar the Boneless ravaged England and the North Sea in general, but was killed by the Irish outside of Dublin, which was ironically founded by the Vkings themselves to get a foothold on the island). The other thing is that in the Vorroks clans, when I try to find the village elders in the Vorroks lands, I can't seem to find them.

At any rate, I haven't gotten to test out the the Lyonesse or the Shogunate, but if you want some more input, I'll give you some when I find it.

@ Alaricrose: Thanks and yes I wouldn't mind some input although maybe on the forum thread instead of here if that's ok. This is a major work in progress as many people have seen fit to tell me. :D
And yes the scenes for all the new villages and castles are unfinished and therefore not really working. On the other hand the towns should be fine, except the Taverns which I can't get working. But I'm hoping to find someone who wouldn't mind donating some time to scening.
By the way you should try multiplayer just to verse some bots or something so you can see what the new stuff is likely to look like. Thanks for downloading. :D

To Everyone: I have found another bug on the map. Any Lords inside Katakana cannot come out. It will be moved inland significantly in the next release.

According to the poll on the forum thread, there will probably be two new factions in the near future. Please vote to determine what they will be. :D

If anyone is interested in doing aything I'm happy to accept them, particularly texturers and or people who don't mind scening. From what I can tell, the scenes don't take effort, just time which I don't really have.
