Description
This is an Excel sheet I made after I made the 'Character creation and development sheet', to help me see how I could build my companions. It works about the same as the character creation sheet, except for the background choice part. In the first column you can see what level the companion starts at, and what attribute and skill scores he starts with. In the next column you can place your picks for his/her attributes and skills, after you type in the level you want to see him/her at in the appropriate cell for that.

Where do you put this? What program is the best to view it in? Wordpad and notepad don't work for me and theres no readme to tell others what exactly to do this with or how to use it.

You can put it in any folder you like, makes no difference.

The program you should use to view this file is called Microsoft Excel, it is part of the Microsoft Office pack. There might also be some other software that can read .xls files. Excel is a type of program called a spreadsheet application or a table calculator.

There are some instructions in the description on this page. Did you download http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=2426 as well? There might be more detailed instructions there, also there are instructions built in that sheet, if I remember correctly.

Cheers, have fun and thank you for showing interest in my work.

Your download just came up with a file that needed the Microsoft excel program. I know it and have used it a lot lately. Thanks!

For the future you should make a folder and put a readme then the other programs after those steps. Its a lot more organized and easier to go through.
