Description
Mount and Musket Battalion is a mod for Warband that tries to represent a historically accurate early 1800s. It has real factions, with historical troops and items, adds factions, maps, items, balancing and more to the game. It is the most popular Napoleonic mod, and has been around for a while, with many large scale events with hundreds of people and organized regimental warfare. With a rapidly growing community its recommended to all players who enjoyed battlegrounds 2, and any realism games.

I only played For 30mins but i got to say that this game still needs alot of work, I get Error Scripts Trying to shoot rifles and doesn't play any sounds or Bullet/Smoke animations, And When it hits an NPC it only does Minimal damage, and i couldnt find any Armor but hats,and as i recruited Troops I couldnt Find any tree with a troop tree with Muskets/Rifles, But It was at least nice for small Changes, But has many Flauds Still. As No Other NPC had Rifles/Muskets.

SniperGDude, This is Multiplayer only!

In single player nothing will work properly.

You can start a server with bots, it works okay but musket sounds are not played.

My god, I remember this mod when it had incorrect gun animations, crappy uniforms, and script errors.

Look how far you guys have come! I am very impressed. Still has a few script errors though.

You probably host your own battle didn't you? The sounds don't work for any guns on any mod unless you join a dedicated server for the mod. Do what I do, Kill a teammate with the soundless gun and take his after dropping your original. Works every time.

I just downloaded the mod, but it doesn't work, the game crashes and got this window: "get object failed for mesh: prt_mesh_yrellow_leaf_a" !!! So what i have to do? Is it a common problem? Thanks

I have 1.134 warband however.. when I click on multiplayer it crashes.. I get this error thing that says something like body_textures something like that..

Re-install a clean version of warband 1.134 all your problems will be gone!

Yes I have played it.. made it sound worse then it was... but yes, one sided you give advantages to each side. You should try to make it even, glitched as in you stab the kill you??? Going through walls (you might not be able to fix that though) also horses are retarded. They jump a into the air kill you with a lance. Or they come running up silently and kill you when they're on a fricking horse. O_O Just stuff like that. FIX IT! Oh yeah and the guns.... that is the worst... no accuracy at all less more unrealistic also takes to long to reload I know you're trying to go for realistic but know one wants that.

I'm pretty sure most of us play for the realism, just saying.

I don't want a musket game with automatic muskets, I could just play a WWII game then.

The accuracy is fine from afar but up close point blank and miss that is messed. As for the reload times it seems some guns load faster then others.... so pick a reload time because that unbalances the game.

BTW: I REALLY like some things to, your maps are done well also like the meshes. :D

Hi I`m new and I`m from Bulgaria.I`m sorry for the orthography.Then the game it`s good but I can`t play new game,buy items or made my faction.I can play own on multiplayer. Next time You can made mod how the athers mods but with new items,map,armorry,soldiers,factions, canonns and other.I can`t comand the units.It`s hardest to move or fire with canonns. :-| .But on the ather side the mod is good. :-).I really know the next time the mode will be awsome and I vote five stars

King Edward this is a multiplayer only mod, so there is no point in trying to play it on singleplayer.

A. It's like, based in mid-late 1700s, they didn't have quick reload clips and holographic sights back then. Guns were just starting to evolve. Reloading guns here actually takes less time than it really did.

B. If people didn't want realism, then they shouldn't have downloaded this. This is the most realistic mod to date.

So seriously, deal with it, or try a different mod.
