Description
NOTE: Tested and Works with 1.132/1.131

I have always wanted a Roman mod for Warband, so I made one myself. What happens is the Romans invade Caladria.. oh just read the story!

The Story
The Romans have come seeking new lands, and have completely taken over the Swadians.
And the Gauls, having lost all their lands to the Romans, came and took over the Nords.
Now the Rhodoks, Veagirs, Khergits and Sarranids realize that the Romans and Gauls pose
a threat to their kingdoms. You arrive in Caladria, with a huge war going on.

So now, you only have four options:
1. Join the Romans, and help them take over Caladria
2. Join the Gauls, and help them take over Caladria
3. Make your own faction and destroy everybody else
OR
4. Join one of the other factions to help destroy the Romans and Gauls.

Some of the Basic Features:

2 new factions, The Roman Empire and the Gauls
The new factions have new troops and troop trees
New Roman/Gallic items - Special Thanks to Llew2
The Lords of Rome/Gaul have new names
The Romans & Gauls Towns, Castles and Villages are renamed

And Some Tweaks:

Larger party size
Bandits have larger party sizes, minimum 15, max 50 with looters having a max of 100.
Higher bet options for tournaments
Cattle follow you
Minimum of 5 recruits per village, maximum 20
Siege tower moving speed cut in half
Building improvements cut down by half
Some dialogs changed.
And some other stuff, that I can't remember

weapon_meshes....wtf is the problem?? i soo wanna play a romanmod, but it gives the same shit error....i have the lastest m&b warband, i install it, its in the module file, and at the half way on the loadiing, it gets this error....damn!!

I downloaded the roman invasion mod but I do not know how to play, I start the game normally but it is just the warband game and not the mod....... somebody please help me play this mod, I want to be a Celtic warrior and take down the Romans :cry: :cry: :cry:

Some ideas.
Did you put the module in the modules folder? If so it should look something like this: C:\Program files\mount and blade warband\ modules\Roman Invasion. Make sure the folder is not in a subfolder in the module folder. ex. C:\Program files\mount and blade warband\ modules\Roman Invasion\Roman Invasion. and did you select the module from the dropdown menu before hitting start Warband?

I DOWNLOADED 7 MODES FOR MB WARBAND AND GIVE ME THE SAME ERROR :cry:
When the game is loading data it's crashing :-(

Hey I downloaded this and fire and steel or something like and when they install and i get 2 the loading screen when it gets to reading ini file lots of errors come up (cannot load resource fur armour etc.) so i went 2 the ini and deleted all the lines of load X resource. then back in loading screen it gets past the reading ini fil but then when it gets to loading textures another error comes up (cannot load palm something) and cant delets the run cods 4 that. tried dowloading twice and same thing. any hints?

ok downloaded it a 3rd time. this time is weirder. loads all the way but while loading it keeps minimizing no matter what i do. (closing everything else etc) and the it loads (i can hear the music) but still wont maximize) HELLLLPPPP!

I still need help playing this mod. I go to extract file but I dont see extract file, I see extract all and that doesnt lead me anywhere. I found a walk through on how to extract the mod to play but when I go to windows explorer and follow the directions on the walk through I see extract all but no extract files, I am stuck. I have the mod downloaded no problem but from there I am lost any suggestions would be great...

ok, I go to windows explorer, I click on downlooads and right click on roman invasios 1.3 or some #, anyways I see extract all but all that does is compress the files.... I need help bigtime please help me :-( :-( :-(

NOTE: This mod was created for 1.131, and 1.132, so if you are still using 1.127, or something, it will not work.

Yea i have 1.132 i got it working. downloaded 2 ran it in windowed mode a few times then it worked in normal. was dissapointed though as the normal armour is much better then roman armour so not much point being a roman. and then the swadian knights etc can kill you easier if you are anyway. but tx

Please help i'm a big fan and wanted to play a mod like this but it doesn't work i download it with the link but how do i put it in the module folder and play since the game run by steam i can't go to properties and stuff like the crack version and i have the latest version for warband and i don't know why i download Diplomacy mod without putting it in the module folder for it to work but for this one its different. please help!

Great mod I love it......The one thing that would make this mod unbeatable is if you made custom commands...at least for the Romans....Romans had the greatest and most organized armies in Ancient Warfare. If you made a command to make the Infantry go into a Testudo formation an the Cavalry into a wedge formation...That would be amazing. And I also think that if you can. You should also make it to that you can be the leader of the Roman or Gaullic factions. That would be great to be king of them without starting a rebellion. Other then that. I love the mod. Nice Job! B-)
