Description
Module Launcher
Updated 11/1/2010 Changelog: -Replaced the function that stores keys in the registry with a function that stores them in a settings file. -Added further support for the Iron Launcher -Added checks for the Iron Launcher and a pop up window advising one to start it with the Iron Launcher if it's found. -Added several failsafes. It should be almost impossible to crash this thing. -Small bug fixes. What is it? It's a small executable created by me that will act as a desktop shortcut to launch your module. This is a kit for Visual Studio (I used 2010, don't know if it's backwards compatible.) It doesn't do much, but it's my attempt to get rid of bugs due to people not using the Iron Launcher. This is the actual project. I would be more then willing to make them for people if they don't have VStudio. This provides you my source, which is currently set for my mod, but can be easily edited via the heavily commented script. Uses a settings file now. Wha'ts it do? It will automatically execute upon being double clicked, doing two things. -Edit the registry so that the default module is your module. -Launch Mount&Blade/Warband and/or the Data Iron Launcher, and any other software you want to run with M&B/Warband Notes: Using this icon, the Iron Launcher won't have to be launched from the folder, reducing the chance of someone forgetting to launch the Iron Launcher, and end up with a mod full of bugs. I also have added an update button, which you must manually enable, to update your mod using Kuba's Module Updater. This software uses .NET 3.5 Images ![]() Old Pictures: http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/9868/iglauncher1.jpg http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/6987/iglauncher2.png |
