What would be the fat possible chance of incorporating Greek/Roman style armors into the mod? :green:

I don't think there are any Greek armors available that meet my standards- the closest is the stuff that the Vaegir wear. Llew made excellent Roman armor, but at this point I'd have to make a new faction or something to bring them in. So IDK.

Read the Modder information on the Forum. Basically, you can use whatever you want, art-wise, so long as you credit the artists involved.

Yeah, having that issue as well. I'll send a note to Janus about it.

Good God. For some reason, I'm taking obscene amounts of damage, even with plate armor. For example, when I fight bands of looters, I'll charge with my calvary, and then get pelted with rocks, draining me of all my health. Is this the Fancy Damage system at play?

EDIT: Upgrading defensive tactics seemed to work

EDIT2: I'd like to add that I think the rate at which you're churning out the updates is awesome.
Uh... with plate? I don't suppose you did something silly, like use a savegame from 1.23? I warned ye in the release notes, lol

Oh, no, I didn't use an old savegame. I created a new game, and used control + x to get enough money to buy full gothic plate. And when I decided to heroically charge the looters with my twenty mercenary calvary, I went down under a hail of rocks.

This has happened to me all the time from 1.21 to 1.23. I haven't tried this latest version, but in those past versions, armor seems to count for nothing, as I claim to receive damage in the single digits or low-double digits, and yet I've lost easily three or four times that much. If it matters any, I'm on Mommy mode.

Weird. I'm on Casual difficulty and this is happening. Did a full reinstall of the mod, too.

I just saw a video that was for the old "Pellaponesian war" mod, on Mount and Blade. It had excellent greek armor (Spartan, I believe). However, I dunno if the mod author is allowing others to use the models.

That's just your anti-virus being a pain in the neck, because it's an executable. You'll have to give it permission to let it install. There's nothing harmful in the installer.

This is a great mod, but when i do the archer class (can't remember the name) the bow is very inaccurate, im not sure why since it has 100 accuracy but when i use a diffiferent bow its almost perfect aiming every time.

The crazy damage amounts happen to me also. I have a clean install, new game normal difficulty and I edited the skills up to 10 on all. Wearing full plate, looters deal abnormally large amounts of damage with rocks in green letters and also mid single digit in normal damage letters. Each rock seems to hit me twice dealing huge amounts+normal amount. so the log looks something like this for each hit:
You recieved 45 damage
Recieved 6 damage

I really enjoy this mod, love the armors and the beginning choices. Also the amount of troops are great. And God bless you for "Speak with the Guild Master" (it's my first Warband mod, don't know if that option is common). Thank you very much for this. And I even managed to start this on the newest version.
