Report bugs in the Forums; if I don't know about the bugs, I can't fix them :-)

The only bug I've noticed so far is that when your own troops route they get recorded as killed at the end of the battle. But instead of being taken out of the party, they still remain.
I'll look into that, but basically it's just a reporting error, so don't worry about it :-)

I'll think about the village-recruitment issue for 1.20.

Man, As i said before i totaly love this mod.. But how weapons 'stop working' against others (higher ranked soldiers) is really annoying.. People might say: You're weapon skills may be to low, they are simply dodging your attacks etc.. but they arn't. I cheated with one of my characters (import/export "cheat") and maxed every skills.. everything.. But the experts, elites wont recieve any damage by my 1h-2h swords, axe nor polearms... The only way i can take them down is by bow and arrow (Ranged weapons). I though it was just fine at the start.. but after days of playing, conquring nearly the half map with the 'none cheating char'. it's becoming really annoying! D: There's no prob with the lowered ranked nor the lords/jarls/boyars etc, they are as simple as peasents with the max skilled char..

I hope there is just some simple bug but sadly i haven't seen anyone else complaining about it.

Also.. in combat you still can't (atleast i can't) Equip a dead men's weapon nor shield.. but still ranged ammunition (as in arrows, bolts, javaline, "Harpoons" ) If it's how you want it to be then i guess i shouldn't bother about it.. But noone answered my last comment so.. I really want an answer now about these things :P Still it's an amazing mod besides those 'bugs' :)

Hmm. When tested here, those weapons work, even against really high-level enemies. They make take two hits instead of one, but they definitely work. Did you max out Combat Training? Between that and Heroism, those two skills should make you competitive. If it's still not working at all, who knows, maybe there's still a bug in the code, but I doubt it- 1.191 seems to be OK in that regard.

Okey thanks now i know it isn't the mods fault but I'll try to delete and re-dl/install (Or w/e ) And see if that would do anything, if not .. Then i guess there's nothing more i could do.. But yet again, fantastic mod :) I really hope it'll work so i can continue my crusade through Calradia! >:)

This is probably the most well made mod ever. I love your work guys. I have noticed though that the gun sounds in the game is almost non-existent - this has been a problem through these versions 1.191 - 1.171. Time to fix that perhaps?

ya i been using a barbarian and i noticed my 2h is the highest weapon skill and i can kill elites easy with it, if i try to use a lower weaponskill its a long fight which is fun. is a barbarian suppose to get a second chance sometimes when i die in combat? sometimes he comes back with full life

Ok, I've downloaded 2.0 of this mod some time ago, started up a new game, and noticed that the female faces looked hideouse (I have downloaded Faces1.1rar from this site). I did exactly what that file's readme instructed me to do to fix that, loaded up the game, and the faces didn't change. Tried fixing it again, and I'm not sure what I did to cause this, but now it says that it's unplayable because one of the female faces is missing altogether.

I probably should feel very much  about this, because part of this might be my fault because I tried to fix it myself with little knowledge about wtf was going on (however, I did do it very cautiously, knowing my past history of fixing these sort of things myself.)

So, I'm here now, and am willing to ask: How do I fix this?

Apparently updating to the latest version, unzipping Faces1.1rar (again), and making the specified changes in the .ini file WORKS. So, nvm. :-D

Was this posted on the wrong mod's comment area? Haven't the foggiest what this is about  If you're saying the female faces are hideous and you fixed them with some other mod, great.

I made the makeup for the current faces based on research about what women's makeup was like back then (and yes, they wore makeup).

They didn't have the huge variety of ingredients that modern women do, and their styles were vastly different (for example, the really pale women are based on court makeup from the 15th century in Europe).

I'm not surprised that it's not to everybody's tastes, but that was always the intent- to put in faces that are something like what women actually looked like, so far as I was able to determine.

Oh, *clears throat* sorry about the confusion. I believe I've posted in the right comment area because, well, the mentioned Female Face pack was the first think I downloaded for Warband, while Blood and Steel (which I LOVE, btw), was the very last thing I downloaded.

To clarify, what I meant by "ugly", I meant that there appeared to be extra faces meshing up with the ones that you've made, and the only way that I've remembered to fix it was to unzip the Female Face Pack file (again), and modify 2 lines within the .ini file (those 2 lines involved the face meshes and textures.)

Again, I apologize for the confusion.

Good God. For some reason, I'm taking obscene amounts of damage, even with plate armor. For example, when I fight bands of looters, I'll charge with my calvary, and then get pelted with rocks, draining me of all my health. Is this the Fancy Damage system at play?

EDIT: Upgrading defensive tactics seemed to work

EDIT2: I'd like to add that I think the rate at which you're churning out the updates is awesome.

Uh... with plate? I don't suppose you did something silly, like use a savegame from 1.23? I warned ye in the release notes, lol

Oh, no, I didn't use an old savegame. I created a new game, and used control + x to get enough money to buy full gothic plate. And when I decided to heroically charge the looters with my twenty mercenary calvary, I went down under a hail of rocks.

This has happened to me all the time from 1.21 to 1.23. I haven't tried this latest version, but in those past versions, armor seems to count for nothing, as I claim to receive damage in the single digits or low-double digits, and yet I've lost easily three or four times that much. If it matters any, I'm on Mommy mode.

That is very, very weird. I haven't seen anything like that over here. Rocks should be harmless, if you're wearing plate and a halfway-decent helmet. IDK what to suggest, other than doing a clean reinstall of the mod and starting a new game. Maybe there's some junk in the files causing this.
