Whenever i launch it says Cannot Find: CommonRes\warhorse_new.brf help?

Im running it through steam but i put it in my modules folder

Update: ive only played a few minutes but already i love it.. best mod ive played.. kinda weird but ive only played a few minutes i dont know what u did to the combat system but it seems faster i love it.. +1 dude

great mod, love the textures etc, and a special thank you for the female armor & thinking of us girls who play M&B . unsure if these are bugs or not. the lances wont thrust while mounted , and on the flintlock ammo theres no count , so its a one shot deal. also on the items in inventory, they automaticaly move up ( wont stay where you set them ) thank you for sharing this mod, please keep it going . :-D

On the flintlock- buy bolts / bullets- they share the same ammo type (I know it's weird, but I had to make it work that way).

Lances not thrusting while mounted *should* work- they can couch. I'll test that before the next release.

Items in inventory get auto-sorted when you enter a shop. This is to make it less annoying to sell lots of loot :-) Anyhow, glad you like the mod.

the lances couch properly , its just when i try and thrust at foes . while on topic of lances, i understand the larger ones being no shield, but the smaller ( light lance, lance ,heavy lance , double sided lance ? ) lol had it lock up on me while having a double sided equipt ( out of habit tried to use my shield ) very nice change up on the arenas , also love the heavy & thief boots ;-) .. is there a way to turn off the inventory auto sort ? for myself having it off makes it easier to keep track of the food etc . :-| just finished tryin a few different lances, uncolored great, green great, yellow great, heavylance, none would thrust, couched properly but :-( . maybe it is because of the pole arm overhand thing . spears while mounted do a wierd overhand style thrust. could be why lances wont thrust ? :-) .

Yes, that's it exactly. Warband won't let me add any *new* animations, so I have had to move things around a bit, so that spears can (finally) have a proper overhand strike.

But I'll go ahead and make the lighter lances back into Spears- that will solve most of that problem, although then you won't be able to couch. It's all tradeoffs.

Nice- but still some problems:
Polearms like spears cause way more swinging than thrusting damage (?).
I started as an archer mercenary with 256 skill points (bow) and had to discover my char was not able to hit a target from a few steps distance- an experienced marksman should be more skilled. :-D
It's not possible to organize the inventory.
In battle scenes parties are diveded in defense and attack party. But whenever I've been attacked I found my party in the role of the attack party after changing to the battle scene. As an example, I had to lead 4 men in an attack against 19 defending men after being attacked by them- senseless :roll:

I really like this mod - grateful thanks for all your hard work. ;-)

As a player who likes cavalry armies, it came as a shock how tough some of the enemy infantry can be - especially the halberdiers, pikemen and two-handed swordsmen! I'm now (realistically) having to re-think my tactics LOL. Infantry are no longer speed-bumps! Great stuff.

My only criticism is with the female warriors (no sexism intended!). It's just that they appear so often when I'm recruiting in the taverns, and it's hard to play without them (again no sexism intended! :-D ). I just wish there was an editor so I could substitute them for shall we say more traditional warriors.

I did come across one glitch though in a siege of Halmar cos the siege ladders ended up too high for the walls, and the attackers ended stacking up right at the top with just an odd man falling off the top every now and then (was he pushed? >:) ). My character ended up embarassingly being all alone on the battlements because I jumped off - I was leading the attack of course!

Great mod, and thanks again.

BTW the new armour/weapons are brilliant - not so sure about the fantasy stuff but hey ho each to their own B-)

Current version remains 1.05?

I just started this mod and my char and every other npc i have met has what looks almost like a second person stretched into the shape of a two brnace tree stuck on their shoulders. This was also present in the char creation screen.

Any idea how i can get rid of this bug?

Still the same problems :-(

The mod cannot tell attackers from defenders. I'm always in the attacking position although being attacked.
And the inventory cannot be organized.

Very nice mod so far. Combat feels right and all of the tweaks work well together. Still some bugs. I'm also stuck always being the attacker.

I'm not making Troop Tree Views of the mod, largely because I want players to find it out by playing, instead of just cherry-picking... and I intend to add a lot of new troops, so it'd quickly become a pain to maintain.

For your info, though, the Rhulg Destroyer is a very heavily-armored axeman with a giant, two-bladed axe and a wild-looking helmet. No promotion, and they're expensive, but they're killer assault troops.
