Description

Here it is, the first version of the mod i've been working on for quite a long time. This version is the base mod and is missing some key features that I plan to add in future versions. I have not tested it much on the newest WB version but it should work.

Features
- Play as The Soulless Snowmen.
- Play as The Tremendous Trees.
- Play as The Sexy Santa's.
- New items and troops.
- New scene props and towns.
- New map. made of snow.
- Three sizes of snowman.
- Yetis.
- Several different tree sizes and meshes.
- Lots and lots of fog and snow.
- General awesomeness.

Answers to questions that someone will ask...

Q: How do I recruit troops?

A: Click the recruitment button, it's where the camp button used to be.

Q: How do I buy stuff?

A: Go into one of your factions 'towns' and walk around until you find a merchant.

Q: What if i'm a tree, can I buy stuff as well?

A: Well, there are merchants in the forests but you'll never find them.. It's not like the trees have anything to buy anyway.

Q: I want new tree items, how do I get them if I can't buy them?

A: Go kill the moving forests you'll get lots of tree related things from them.

Q: I am faction A but I found items for faction B, what will happen if I use them?

A: If it's armour and you use it things will go wrong. Most armours are made to fit one skeleton size. If you want to use weapons from other factions, that's fine.

Q: What do I do If I find a bug?

A: Post a description of the bug in the main thread.

Q: I have a suggestion, what do I do?

A: I suppose if your suggestion is good, you can post in the thread.

Well I've been playing for a few hours now and here's what I've come to:

1. I saw "Sexy Santas" and immediately downloaded this mod leaving me to be somewhat disappointed (You know what I expected >:), I will not give up hope! :) )
2. When I downloaded this I was wondering if the names of nations had been edited or if retexturing had actually been done and it had been which is great (Still lacking in the sexy santa department lol :P)
3. I think of all the Warband mods so far this is the most original and creative, absolutely incredible :)
4. I like the level of detail that went into this despite how young the mod is it is already detailed from the second the game starts up.
5. I first played as the santas (You know why) and I had some serious issues shooting the trees because for some reason I was fighting some seriously small bushes lol (We're talking knee height)
6. I love how you can use your enemies as armour (Wearing tress, yeti body, ect.) its both creepy and awesome at the same time.
7. I totally get owned by the yetis I had about 40 santas with me and I fought 20 Yetis which immediately wiped them all out and pursued me around the field I had to edit my stats in order to kill them and even with 350 strength I could not kill them without taking massive damage so I had to shoot which proved difficult.
8. The players head sticks out of the back of the yeti armour
9. You cannot effectively use your fists to hurt a bush (As they are too short)

Fun mod I give it 4 stars out of 5 (It loses a star for lack of appropriate (or inappropriate rather) sexiness in the santas :P)

I hope to see some more features in this as well perhaps some differentiation between the Watchtowers.

I'm glad you enjoy it. The plan is that i'm going to fix all the bugs in this version then start on the next version. I have a lot planned for version two.

Very interesting and unique mod. I don't think there's even been an attempt at this sort of creativity. I enjoyed the mod right off the start. I do hope to see more of this mod and not just see it die in a few weeks of either lack of motivation or personal time, however it's understandable and sort of expected. I hope these comments make up for the motivation part though.

Cheers! :pint:

Don't worry, this mod isn't dying, I've spent way to much time on it to let it die now... Plus I have a lot of fun making it. If you have a forum account for TW you can head over to the thread for this mod and discuss it more.

what kind of things would you be adding?

if you were thinking of adding a new Faction i think Something like Rabid Reindeers would be great (They could Hate the Santas for being so hard on them lol :P )

also if you need any other ideas for the Mod id be happy to think of some for you :-D

I plan on adding lots of things, like new items, troops and quests.. A new faction also, but i don't want to give to much away.

If you have any suggestions, head over to the thread (it's linked in the description) and you can make as many as you like.

So you don't want me to add an installer? You want it to stay as a manual install?
