Can't wait to try it. Approximately 200 Years before Norman conquest which would make it right at the decline of the Norsemen.

Tyranth, I did a test download myself and dropped it into the Modules file and it worked fine. Try to download again, maybe some of the data was corrupted the first time. Hope you can open it.

So far I'm really liking this. Though I keep changing my mind... should I be a Viking, raiding church towns and villages? or should I be a Saxon Huscarl holding a spear wall against the Welsh? argh, to much fun.

Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! I just played your mod for two hours as "The Church" and I really liked it. Seems to be bug free, which is really something. Oh! Thinking of it: On the 3rd or 4th day I got a message popping up, while riding the plains, that one of my prisoners - a Danish Lord - had escaped but at that point I hadn't made any prisoners. It didn't influence gameplay as far as I can see, so it isn't really a problem to me.

I apolgize. There seem to be a lot of little messages similar to that one that pop up, however so far it has not affected gameplay, and I am on day 137. Dont know what would cause that.

I got the "Unable to open CommonRes/costumes_a.brf" error, too. I re-downloaded it and tried again with no luck.

--Deleting all mod files and trying again.

-- --No good. Is there another mirror that we can download from possibly? Or if those of us with problems can download a good copy of costumes_a.brf from someone who can play?

Edit: I feel silly. We have this error because we're trying to play the mod with Warband. Put the mod folder in the regular M&B modules folder.

Just started playing this mod yesterday. It's my new favorite mod. What i really really like right off the bat about it is the custom faction flag options. Something so little makes a big difference for me. Lots of new features that i haven't seen in any other mods yet. I have a question for you. should i be able to just take troops out of any castle i want and add them to my men? Cause i can.

Pretty good mod all around. I really like the new music and sounds. Factions and map are very good. I like what you did with the Church faction, and I agree on your reasoning for having them. You should see if you can get some more gear from The Eagle and the Wolves mod, its set around 4-5th century AD, but I think you could include allot of items from it with his permission of course. It would really add to the mod. 4 stars solid, good job, and I look forward to the next release!

Bernard Cornwell fan I see. can't wait to try this mod. I'm reading The Winter King right now, the Arthurian series. I was thinking that would make a pretty cool mod. you could have left over Roman armor, Saxons :pint: , etc... anyway, thanks for putting your time into something that many will enjoy. :-D
