Description
A small pack containing my first few models. There are Gothic and Milanese plate armours, some salets, and some plate gauntlets. Do what you like with them, just give credit. And if you do add them into a mod, feel free to pm me so I can check it out :green:

(04/03/10):
added the following:
3/4 black and white pikeman's armour, 2 variations.
gauntlets in the same style as the black and white armour
a couple of combed morions
bear-paw shoes
plate mittens
flamberge zweihander

is there a tutorial for how to add these items into the game? I've never modded before but I wanted to add them to native.

Hello. I downloaded your package of armor. I particularly liked the Milanese gauntlets and visoret Saillet helmet. It's a good job. The armors have in my opinion very fine textures. Can I use in my mod Matriarch v0.3 Rising of Ribhinn? Of course, the credits would be your name as author. Another question: I have your permission to make bronze and silver versions?

I have the same request. Maybe a tutorial like talak's for his unique armoury mod. I tried to apply those instructions here but didn't succeed.

I'm out of town for a few days, but when I'm back I'll add an item_kinds to the forum page. In the mean time, this link will give you all the info you need to add these to your native game. I can't make it any more clear or simple than this, other than making a mini-mod that will replace your native game. Which I can do, if you absolutely can't figure out how to add new items to your game.

No, you don't need either of the brf editors to use these files. Just drop them into the appropriate folders (ex to add it to Native, put the brf file in the modules/native/resource folder, and the textures in the /textures folder). Then make the appropriate entries in your module.ini file, and item_kinds file.

alright, maybe I can figure this out if i ask a bunch of questions. first question: do i put "load_mod_resource = Narf's_Plate_Armour_brf" into the module.ini? is that the correct wording?

I am trying to write the line item for the bear paw shoes. is "itm_bear_paw_shoes Wrapping_Boots Wrapping_Boots 1 bear_paw_shoes 0 536940302 0 3 123731968 1.000000 100 0 0 3 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0" the correct line item to put into item_kinds1? Can I choose any "boots" line item to copy from the original item_kinds1? I am very unsure about how to write the line items.

If you go to the first post on the home page (on the taleworlds forum, link above), you will find complete items_kind entries for all of these items. The entries are for regular Mount&Blade. Austupaio has a post in that thread with the item_kinds for Warband. All necessary instructions are clearly detailed on that thread- please read it through if you are having trouble with this. Also, try doing some searches on the forum for answers to your questions, I can assure you they're all been asked and answered in one form or another over the years.
