New features in this version:
Tempered's Entrenchment Kit - allows you to camp and entrench your troops.
dstemmer's Command Cursor minimod has been incorporated. Now you can direct your troops more easily. A godsend in sieges.
Assassins! Tired of getting ambushed by boring old bandits? Now other lords will hire assassins from time to time. As you gain power, tougher assassins will be sent after you.
In the spirit of retaliation, you may also send assassins after other lords.
You'll also be able to hire mercenaries to hunt lords down and annihilate their armies.
Lots of beautiful new horses for the aspiring noble.
New weapons, including maces, morningstars and lances.
A travelling minstrel, who will commemorate your great deeds through song.
Dark Knights have been given a buff and are no longer a pushover; they are more agressive and you'll need tenacity and leadership to overcome them.
New armours for the DKs.
Special weapons have been rebalanced, so it's no longer a chore to wield the Nordhammer and others.
Some bugs fixed, etc.

I hate these alien invasions and weapons with bullets, that damages all game i think.

New weapons, 100, ? Or Just New Textures.

A lot of the 'new' new weapons are given as quest rewards - talk to each king after you hit level 10, and you'll get some 'elite' quests where the reward is an uber-weapon. You can only do one of these at a time though, so you have to finish one before you can get another.

Hardtack lasts a verrrry long time, and therefore it has no morale bonus.

You can turn off the DK invasion in the Camp menu. Also, there are no bullets in this game :shock:

I think the "bullets" are the Arbelastiers with the shooting sound.
But they are such way since many releases, they have to be this way.

Nice new look for my favorite Native-Version, thx guys and gals.

Nice work guys, this is awesome!
I have one question though; some of the companions (from the taversn) tell me they "do not trust me" so I can't hire them.
Does this mean my "honor rating" must increase? I've read all your ~85 points and haven't seen a thing about this.
If not, what must i do to be able to recruit them??

I tried opening it, but it crashes and I get an error messages saying 'Unable to open costumes_a.brf'
I've re-downloaded and overwritten every time, but to no avail. (Nevermind, I just realized this is a Mount and Blade mod. Not warband ~_~)

You need to raise your renown. I dont know to what number this needs to be but thats the answer.

First of all, AWESOME MOD guys !!! :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: I really enjoyed playing it and it easily goes into my top ten mods :pint:
I enjoyed new quests which in my opinion are awesome, since all the looters are gone and they are replaced by more difficult mobs it made the game more challenging, the new armors and weapons look amazing too, also i liked the fact that u can change the game set ups as you please. Good job guys and i am looking forward to any more improvements for this mod or a completely new mod

awesome mod keep it comming :D but i got a problem i have hired some mercenaries, and instead of following there target the keep forllowing me and talks to me saying that they are preparing for there attack on the targets, what should i do becourse this is realy annoying

If you target a lord who is holed up in his castle, the mercs can't target him and chase him down. As soon as he leaves his castle, they will break off and chase him. You should report this in the bugs topic so we can address; no one ever looks here ;-)

Got an Error

Copyed the Native file so I could keep the original module files..

Installed your mod to the new Module..

Got this error

Unable to open CommonRes\Costumes_a.brf

Any ways to fix this?

So I've really been enjoying this mod.
The quests are original and fun - even where they maintain the "kill someone","escort someone", "bring back someone","get an item" basic themes, the stories of the Hungry Scholars, Eloped Bride, and Local Drunks add a lot that the game was missing before.

I especially like that you re-did the missile system, with the real strength being in the arrow or bolt type (and that crossbows are viciously more powerful than bows, as they ought to be).

This is a fun expansion to Native, and I'm going to enjoy it more. I've not yet encountered any bugs to speak of.

Seriously, I felt BAD after killing off her entire wedding party! I actually went to the liquor cabinet and poured myself some scotch and had a "Sweet Concord, you shall not have died in vain!" moment.

I've not yet gotten to the point where I've decided with whom to ally, so haven't been able to hire assassins yet. I will though, oh I will. I shall dispatch many. I ought to rename my character Arya Stark, though he may not like that.

just to let u know assassins are expensive i think they cost 20000+ to hire

There's a quest in here called Runaway Bride where a village elder asks you to retrieve an eloped bride. You end up at the village just in time to slaughter her entire wedding party. When you go to look for the bride afterwards, everyone's quite pissed at you.

is this 0.586 (this file) better than the oder one( which is 110 MB ..that u posted a lot time after u posted this).. I am with the oder one..there..everything is ok exept that i have 3 castles - they don't self recruit units..so am is tihs betteR?
