Description
This is Mount & Blade as you've NEVER seen it before. Southern Realms adds a lot of variety to the game, giving you more opportunities, skills, and... and I'll let the features list do the talking, since I'm rather chuffed with it myself.

Features:
- Map almost doubled in size from native, showing the Nord homelands, the mighty Empire of Gorinia to the south, and more!
- An extra 20 factions, each with new lands, troops, and heroes.
- Naval travel and combat adds a new dimension to the game; battle cutthroat Nordic pirates or the proud Alanian navy at sea with 2 different ship types and improved boarding ability.
- Foxyman's formations give you the ability to command your troops with deadly precision, but beware; morale failing is now a real problem that can crush the cohesion of your forces.
- Huge troop trees, including several non-faction ones.
- Religions; join the Orinite, Varalite, or Conirile churches to gain access to their holy men, healers, and (of course) battle-hardened religious warriors...
- Face enemies with powerful special abilities such as healing nearby troops, raising morale, or even regenerating health in battle.
- Become a Town Watch commander, with control over the defences of one of the many new or old cities in Calradia
- Hunt deer and boar for food or trophies; these latter can even be taken and sold to those who want them...
- New locations, including country taverns, two universities, and the rogue outpost at Jarren's rock
- Learn one of three skill sets, allowing you an incredible amount of choice in your character development. Either train as a barbarian with the Doaghan, or an Assassin in the alleys of Harlaushia, or learn the arts of command with general Tataca.
- Pubs are rather more interesting; meet the gamblers and drunks of Calradia, along with new mercenary forces that you can hire!
- A ton of other special features; villages now spawn refugee parties when burned, new bandit types roam the map, several companions require quests to allow you to hire them, and troops can be hired in city marketplaces.
- Other new features include shield bashing and spear bracing, both employed by the AI as well as your own forces.
- Did I forget something...?

Oh, and do please take a look at our forum; any feedback would be really appreciated. This is not a final version for the mod, though, so do be aware of that. Many thanks, and I hope you enjoy roaming the Southern Realms as much as I enjoyed their creation.

Nevermind that. I messed up my uninstall of another module. I have to fix that before I can play this. Sigh...looks awesome though.

Sounds really good but the download link doesn't seem to working right :cry: ...I am getting an error when trying to open the file and its only 17mb in size so way too small. :-? ...Thanks ahead of time for any help on this and also thx for the hard work that has already gone into this. ;-)

Hi there,

completly lost this one out of sight, maybe because i am hanging around only on talesworld forum.
Just downloaded and play an hour around, looks very good, this much factions are splendid.
Some weapons seemed to be screwed, the char dont hold them in the right way (blade points to the side).
Great work so far anyway, looks much more done and stable than previous versions, nice to see this thing advance.

You have to go to Guide or someone like that..

And mod really good.. But, design of castles and towns are not so good.. And map, really pushing my pc..

Actually, I haven't seen any bugs even use cheat.. Good job, but it should be better ;-)

After a few hours of playing this mod, I found a few bugs... The Fenland sword(or what is it's name is in weird angle, when I use it. The other came, when I battled against an Aurothian army. I won the first wave and after the beginning of the second, I commanded my archers to hold position. After that, the game crashed, because it couldn't fint some arrow texture.

Great mod btw. I like it! :)

great mod but i was just fighting in tihr (was to be my first city.. i hoped) and won in the first battle. the stubbern defenders screencame up and pressed continue and this message saying somthing about vertex buffer came up. it isnt the first time it has either. lol i had like 75 hired blades! oh i love those drunk men in some taverns, i love killing them

number 1, the walls are needed for me, if you like cheats (if you dont your noob) the you can just get a few bandits and put them to mercenary then hired blade, they are the best unit and dont die easy! i got 75 like i said earlier. number 2, you havnt killed them all
ive found this problem but if you hold ctrl and press f4 then that last guy (who i think is on a roof) will die and you can go back >:) hope this solves it

A few bugs I've noticed:

1. The arena in what seems to be all towns is broken. You spawn with all the other fighters outside of the arena and stuck together.

2. When you are attacked by bandits you wont be able to find the last enemy in some towns.

3. In some Tournaments(which unlike arenas, seem to work most the time) you and your team have a chance to spawn outside of the arena. Not as big a problem when its you that spawns outside, because you can just walk back in. Big problem when your enemy spawns outside and you cant get to them.

I haven't crashed yet and the mod is very fun other then the listed bugs.

I' ve been laying siege on a castle(I think it was Haralusia) and i charged the walls, but the castle was high up in the air.... And i didn't use cheats...
And i also think, that the game is a bit unbalaced, because i had 50 hired blades, and i could beat the whole Aurothian army and lost only 5 men....
