Description
It's a year after the Civil War in the Western part of the United States. In the North, there are Apaches and Comanches. From the South, Mexican bandits raid American villages. Join the US Army and become an honest man or lend your hand to a bandit chief for a fistful of dollars.

1866 aims to bring the atmosphere of the most famous Western movies to Mount and Blade. More than 65 brand-new detailed and realistic firearms await you. Whether you use them for good or bad is up to you.

enOrme mod! loved to play it. but 2 major problems occured:
-after I conquered my first city El Paso I got a silly amount of cash, something like 5252252 dollars!!!!! I was struggling to keep running my army with limited bucks, which pushed me to frequently hunt for buffalo meat, loot enemies village, even accept the silly duels for 10 dollars, I found all of that nice, and suddenly Bingo, Waco the former US federate loner turned into a millionnaire :(
-around level 25-30 I could easily managed to besieged forts ALONE. enemy armies of 150+ men stayed entrenched in the fort! poor AI. I eliminated them one by one, besieged the fort 3 times in a row, each time killed 50+ enemies. occasionnaly I took a head shot, was taken prisoner, lost some money (but since I have become a millionnaire it did not matter anymore), then besieged the fort again. not so fun.
apart from that it is a great mod, great work, a pity this mod has not been updated for a year...

Been released and never even posted here, just searched for 1866 and there is a newer version out. 0.9.1 is out

amm there is a bug or something when i throw a hand bomb or grenade at the place where i want to go boom is the place where dat not go boom but random places... sory for bad english :-( :cry:

Yeah I just cant download this mod its says I need mount and blade version 1.011 even though I already have It and doesnt let me play
