Description
This is a mod for Spankyˇs 1257 AD.

What this mod does:
- uses Jean Plassyˇs RCM for 1257 (although a bit altered in this mod),
- adds some new units,
- completley alters merc troop tree,
- changes Swadian sergeant and Vaegir guard into elite infantry units,
- knights now able to ride cloth barded warhorses,
- gives a "feudal army" feel to allready realistic atmosphere in 1257 AD,
- Mountain bandits are now "Teuton renegades" (heavily armed and armored, especially Teuton ritters)
- Looters are now "Feudal knights" party (small feudal soldiers composed army. Feudal knights are single best soldiers in game)
- lots other tweaks, bla-bla-bla...

Installation:
- place .txt files in 1257 AD folder,
- for custom surcoat/warhorse textures just follow instructions provided.

For complete Feudal feel, you ought to use Razinkaˇs masterfully done map of Baltics (I intended to upload the map files with this mod but Raz has not sent me a msg with permision, not yet mind you).

Start a new game, import your character and crush your foes!!!

Credits:
- Lord almighty Master Harlaus :-D
- Jean Plassy for his RCM add-on especially for 1257 AD,
- creative souls behind this game and Spanky for The mod!,
- myself for being a fanatic supporter of 1257 mod...

I suspect I already know the answer to this, but isn't there a way to give the Feudal Knights custom surcoats without using the player's custom surcoat? What's the point in allowing the player to have a custom coat of arms if virtually every outlaw in Calradia has the identical one? When the College of Heralds granted a coat of arms, it was to an individual, so there could not be and would not be roving bands of outlaws wearing the same coat of arms as one of the l local lords.
