Description
Mod which introduces powerful magic and magicians to the world of Calradia.

Features
  • 21 powerful magical items for the player and ai
  • Battlefields are more rugged, as ruggedness increases the effect of magic
  • AI warbands will have wizards and conjurers in tow
  • Wandering bands of Dark Wizards which attack absolutely everything
  • Bands of good wizards to help resist against their evil counterparts
  • Some tinkering with death animations
  • Sorcerer starting class
  • I've probably forgotten something.

File History
0.4-Ported to .960 and added battlefield tactics utility.

0.3-Added wall of water, fire thrower, enchanted sword, enchanted helm, Wildfire curse spells. Redid magical troops such that they do not kill one another anymore. Added resistance brigades to fight against the summoners.

0.2-Added water staff, book of conversion, daemonic summons, ammunition conjuring charm, shockwave, and curtain of fire spells. The built in battle simulator now takes summons into account. All factions are now at war with the Dark summoners. Fixed some balance issues with the summons. Magical item prices rebalanced. Sorcerer starting class added.

0.1-first release of the mod.

Um just a sugestion, u should make like wizard classes and start with weak staffs and stuff. :-P

The mod is full of problems...First it gives RGL error, then it gives test.brf file error....and then it gives damn "attempting to reregister manface_young.brf" error.......

Can anyone help me cleaning this f***ing mess?

Maybe some way to turn the hell knights off? I don't like them too much... :roll: they kill my army no matter what size it is... :-(

am I missing something here?? i download and install this mod, click on the 'Curtain of Fire' module, the same as other mods but when i go ingame it seems to be exactly the same as Native. ive looked around , looked in all shops, even used the 'see all' cheat, no sign of any 'magical' groups. i like the sound of this mod and i really want to get it working, any help plz?

do i need the curtain of fire source files too?? if so what do i do with them? :-(

I'm getting the same problem as everyone else. The new version for Mount&Blade 0.960 doesn't work. When I play this mod, it's just the native version with no changes what-so-ever. Please fix this :(

i downloaded the magic mod and did all of the preporations but when i played it. it seemed as if it was a regular version of mount and blade. It looked as if it was the regular native mod.

Hi!

Im downloading magic mod and when i start the mod and the loading screen comes up, then it comes up an error that says this. Unable to open file: CommonRes\human_anim.brf . What to do? :?:

Let me guess, your trying to play with 1.011 or 1.003 are you?
