-New Flags

-Added Balkan muskets

I think you should take away the credit for Tavener. Since he wern't a team leader. So rather call him in the AOB-Team. Wich also should need a credit. Since they played a good part in the devolopment.

They did alot of dirty work :hammer:

Turks should be weak but not too weak.. currently they are too weak. The Hajduks were brilliant but the Janissary forces could coordinate and beat them in direct confrontation.

A very good mod, but sincerely, i also think that Ottomans are way to underpowered. Normally they would be much stronger than any Balkan nation army at these time (they would have crushed these rebbelions easyly if it would have not been the Great Powers, especially Russia...).

Map lots of more work, it looks preety empty now. Also, many things missing - Where are the Bulgarians ?

-There is no Bulgarians and many rebels..

-Turks not strong. This is a mistake. Cause the authority is Turks in
Balkans those time.

-When I play it, few minutes later it's kickin' from game.

While the Ottomans were the dominate power in the Balkans at this time their army was ineffective and preformed poorly in almost every battle. Keep in mind that this mod takes place before the Nizam-i Cedid.

At the battle of Ivankovac (1805) the Serbs fielded no more than 3000 men to the Turks 15,000 and won the day. At Misar 9,000 Serbs nearly annihilated the Turkish army of 40,000. And at Deligrad 35,000 Serbs routed 55,000 Ottoman regulars with significant Janissary support. The battles of 1815-17 under Obrenovic went much the same.

The Greek war of independence also saw Christian rebels achieving victory against larger Ottoman forces, until Ibrahim Pasha's new style from Egypt got involved in 1825.

For Gradascevic and his Bosnians they won a great victory against an Ottoman force of equal size at Kosovo Field and their rebellion was only crushed after the Bosnian army was weakened by a winter Campaign in Herzegovina and the Ottomans renewed attacks from multiple directions the following spring.

Thus I made the Ottomans in this mod weaker than the other factions but larger and with a higher reinforcement level. That being said I have no problem defeating the other armies with the Ottomans. It just requires the right terrain and a little skill. Try drawing fire with your ranged troops (Archers) and bring in your melee infantry (which are actually a lot stronger than the other faction's troops) and cavalry from the flanks. If you send your cavalry and melee troops strait into the enemy fire (the way the Ottomans actually did) you are going to lose a lot of them before they engage. For defense try to keep your melee troops and cavalry behind a rise in the terrain until the last moment.

Because the Ottomans are so challenging to use I actually find myself having the most fun with them.

No. The Reforms are (nizam-i cedid reforms) started at XVII. century. But Nizam-i Cedid army established at 1793. Also battle of Ivankovac at 1805. Right, Ottomans defeated.. But these times Cezzar Ahmed Pasa defeated Napoleons armies.. Strong armies sent any parts of boundary.. There is much example (battle of Trablusgarp and rebellion at Balkans again).. So Balkanian rebels attacked civilians. If they attack earlier with an army, absolutely they can't defeat Ottomans..

In Egypt.. Also French armies attacked there.. Ottomans tried to take control but of course they can't do anything. Army disintegrated anywhere.. Cause war is everywhere.. This is the bad side of an empire...

But, you could make Ottoman armors more strong.. Or another things.. Troops could be more effective..

But this is good job :) .. I can't deny that :)

And I asked one more problem :) Sometimes (when I shot with gun, middle of the battle, walking streets) windows task manager kicks me from game. "M&B Stopped Working."

Why is this happening?! (It's not happen other mods)

My English so bad.. I tried my best :)

I am not saying that the Ottomans had a bad army. To be sure it is difficult to say anything certain about the Ottoman military in general since its armies came from all over and were sometimes as diverse as the people who made up the empire.

But it is a fact that the armies fielded by the Ottomans in the Balkans at this time were out classed by their opponents. In part this was because the uprising armies had superior weapons available to them, but more so the leaders of the rebel armies had a lot of experience and used organization and tactics better suited for muskets and cannon. And also because empires rarely send high quality troops to put down rebellions.

Are there any suggestions on how to make the Ottomans stronger?

Serious time review

- Positive:

It's great fun all around. The new unit armors and stuff are very colorful and they look great on males and females alike. I LOVE THE GUNS! Very realistic in terms of hurting and reloading long and such.

The politics is great and siege battles feel very difficult with the guns and the enemies as they are

- Negative:

Very sharp lack of variety in items and armor. About 20 or 30 days into the game, I already have pretty much the best guns in the game (The Dzeferdar carbine; I've yet to find ANY rifle that is better than it in terms of speed and accuracy. The Kubura pistol; the only other pistol option seems to be the flintlock, and the Kubura gives two shots per load)

It stops being very fun when the best armor and weapons in the game are so few in number, and so easy to acquire. I'm pretty much set as I am with the two guns mentioned above, a large bag of cartridges, and a masterwork saber. I don't need anything else, because quite frankly, everything else sucks, unless I want to switch to polearms.

Muskets that are pretty much useless except for their bayonets. What the hell is this? Maybe I'm wrong since I've never bought one of them, but there are really nifty-looking muskets in the game that are simply useless to me because they can't be used to fire, but only to thrust or to swing. And I can't use them on horse. They do a lot of damage, but why even bother with the cool-looking gun if it's only purpose is to be a gigantic hilt to the tiny sword on its end?

Mod is great, nicely done :-D . The names of the characters ar very precise. It needs more weapons and equipment. After some time the game starts to crash after the completion of a fight when you take prisoners and soldiers. For me this is the best mod ever. (sorry for my bad english)

What about Croatia? And wtf is hellenic republic? You missed out Croatia... :-x That's offending... Aren't the Croatians the ones that stopped the Turk advancing at battle of Sisak? You need to add Croatia.

Krusevac was not the village. Krusevac is the big city of "Prince Lazar Hrebeljanović". Create a big city called Krusevac. :green:

I like that Montenegro has strong infantry.See Wikipedia page Battle of Fundina , where 5000 of them defeated 40000 Turks.
