Description
First of all: if you have questions, go to WWII: China Battlefield child board and ask there. It's far more effective than doing it here.

You also need to download the update files if you want to play the latest & last version for 1.011.

Combat Tactic and Squad Formation System

Design your combat tactic plans against enemies.

Read the mod introductions before you try these new functions, or it's may hard to understand!
Also, to avoid game keys and mod keys disturbing each other, I recommend you to set the game keys like 1 ~ 6 to numpad 1 ~ 6, F1 ~ F3 to numpad 7~ 9.

From the 2nd version:
5 Whole new systems:

1, Public Order System
Every center(town, castle and village) has this new property: Public Order. It is the reflection of how much the government and the local situation satisfy the residents.
The higher the public order is, the more efficiency the governer's order will be executed. The lower it is, the easier the management(such as automatically recruiting and manufacturing) failed.
Many things can influence the public order, player can also build some buildings or take some measures to improve it.

2, New Building System
School -- college, camp -- barrack, stall -- stable -- manege, workshop -- armory -- arsenal -- ordnance factory, radio post... not only these new buildings, they also have their own funtions that you can't abandon. They should all work together if you want a great modern army(modern I mean middle period of 20th ).

3, New Weaponry System
Manufacture yourself the swords, guns, grenades and ammos you need(if you have at least a workshop and enough craftsmen)!

4, Arming Soldier System
For a long time we consider the old MnB soldier upgrading system too flawed: why the hell can a farmer become a knight if he simply managed to kill enough enemy? Don't he need 20000 denars to buy the horse and armor, or should I provide him?
Now the soldiers don't have this privilege any more! Maybe they will pickup some pistols in the battlefield, but if you don't give them rilfes or MGs or first aid kits, they never have any chance to be riflemen or machinegunmen or medic. You are the commander to decide who can be this or that.
Remember the the weapons you had your men made in the workshop and the horses your grooms give you, now? Equip your soldiers with them! Don't want to collect the crappy trophies before? Now you can simply throw them to the foreman of workshop or your baggage, let your soldiers pick them up when they were recruited or armed.

5, Special Soldiers Ability System
This is the easiest one to understand. Medics can heal the troops, both in the battle and in the world map; generals can improve your tactices; officers can train your soldiers, they can also do many things if you assign them to garrison in your centers; local guides can increase your marching speed; with radioman, you are able to contact with your centers which have commanding officer and radio post from any distance ... ...

These are the new systems. They have been done more than 80%, now I need you to help me finish them by playing this mod and report me all the bugs or things you don't like, even things you can't understand.

Hi don't want to sound all noobish but how do I use the machine guns.
I have a Thomson and I clicked on the settings, thingy. and turned on Full Automatic.
I seen bullets over my number of ammo, but it fired only one bullet. burst fires like 6. I need help.

Also my ideas
*make splash damage, if its there make it stronger. Grenades kill only one person.
*artillery will be great, like in Age of Machinery mod.
*Tanks, Jeeps will be great (Plane will have too much bugs.)
*More buddings, (Radar, Tank Factory, Bank, City Center)
*Add some Russian Weapons, Give the rifles new looks, And new names)
*Also if there is a way make more currencies, so there will be inflation.

I have found another problem, after installing the patch for the effects and such. I went to ride around and fine the new features.
I was not happy :-(
Problems
*I click on a village, and it takes me to training, I click back well it goes back to main menu "tried only on two villages both had that"
*Don't know if that is like that when im fighting, but if I walk around I get some four choices, one is air strike, and they keep on being highlighted. I press Backspace to take them away.

Great mod. Very original. Love it. Highly recommented. :-D

Suggestion:
Implementation of historical accurate map and figures could further enhance both RP and educational value. Wonder what does moddler think of more historical accurate units (ie. weaker Chinese units/equipments but greater number of generals and troops) and factions (more factions and squabbling)? It should make very interesting game play with greater number of Chinese generals and troops at much weaker stats. More period music would also be nice.

Keep up the great work and looking forward to see this mod adapted for Warband ;-) . Please contact if like assistance with historical research and characters' bios.


Tibits:
1. Buying weapons - walk in town and bribe Baggage Officer. Once relation ship >=50 through bribes, can access Baggage Officer from town menu. This can also be accomplished in hostile towns as long you manage to talk to Baggage Officer before he turn hostile and draw weapon.

2. Arm troop - must transfer weapons into Baggage in camp and have faction Infantry(?) available. (Still not sure what level can troops be turned into machine gunners, seemed to be around Infantry)

3. Arm production - station craftman/mechanics at town/village.

4. Granades - aim higher and lead a bit if riding fast. Careful arming your troops with granades if you like to fight close to the enemy, fratricide is quite common.



Bug report:
- Tactical formation AI sometimes fail (ie. squads heading to wrong direction) when fighting along allies.

What??, anyway, it would be just lovely for the japs to have much less towns+ castles. at war with the Marchaduin puppet regemie, jap invaderes help them?? I have never attacked them or Puppet Regimes, yet they attack me!! also would like way to end war when i have a town.... :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :idea: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

aaa, buddy, you acctually have to go INTO the town (Walk around the streets) and there will be a Wepons salesmen that you have to bribe untill u reach a relation of 50+ with him. Also, you can recruit towwnsmen from towns, farmers from from villages, and arm them when you get wepons, "camp" then "mannage you baggage" and put guns and ammo in it. then go back and arm them.....Whats soo complicated about that???

And about first guy.......jezzz...... NOOB

one would think that since its ww2 it would take place in germany france or poland maybe even italy but i didnt think it would be based on china, it should make a very interesting and varied mod :D looking forward to playing it till my eyes burn >:)

I seem to encounter this error a lot in mods. When i run the mod, I get an error: "Unable to open file: CommonRes\costumes_a.brf"
