I didnt expect this, but after a few hours i just can say this one is really great.
Very fine Items, new quests, nice map with no partys stuck in rivers^^.
This one gets close to my all-time-favor PoP,not to say it beats the 1.21 version.
Absolute 9/10 from me (my honest apologise but my only 10 is reserved for PoP 2.0^^)

this is crazy!! i thought i'd give it a try as it would be a laugh.. but it turns out its actually a fantastic mod!! 10/10 this is my fav mod by far (previous fav was lombard leagues) but wow not that it need much work, but don't stop with this mod it's right up there!!

I though tit would be stupid(No offence) but when I tried it I LOVED it! I have a question tough, how do you get married? I increased myrelation with som lay but I can't find an option to get married. Any help?

When you raise your relaitionship to a lady far enough (to 50, i guess), she will offer you her token when you ask what favour you can do to her.
Then you got to defend it against 5 knights (they will find you from time to time).
After that youre half-way married.

truely fantastic mod i have only one thing to semi conplain about the prid talbard error apears from time to time awsome mod particularly like the amazonians and valkaryes and more so the new quests sugestions for new version include more of the terrific quests more items as always and a army for the calradian empire that and the ability to make stiese her own army if uno what i mean and some of the armours are was overpriced i am very eagerly waiting future releases 11/10

Usually you can find you brother/sister in a tavern, just like any companion when they not with you.
I dont know for sure if this is still the case when they left you, but your only chance i guess...
and thats what happens when you ignore the moanings of a woman, she causes you trouble

yea i thought that too but she appears to be avoiding the pub.. is there a sewing class or something that i havnt managed to locate?

there could be a chance that she goes to the towns if that failes try asking the lords and ladys u see from each faction if theyve seen her or there is usaly a guy that u can buy information from... hope this helps

yea theres someone around which has the option 'i need to locate a companion' but theres no option to look for any =/

all im saying is that needs 2 be fixed in regular ones when you finished the game the person who you helped to claim the thrown should leave your party and create her own...which on this mod she stays in your party...annoys me abit i cant wait til the new one releases though...

Hmm...I wasn't aware that anyone would play it after the Empire was reformed, I'll look into fixing that. The end game needs more attention in general though, might be a few releases away.

When Sir Vincent comes he tell's you where to find your sister, and she shouldn't disappear from the map, I'll try to make it so you can find her from a traveler.

and just as another suggestion.. i think it'd be cool if the lords or kings had special items.. such as King whetever's sword and stuff which you can collect from loot after defeating them..

and maybe some more stuff to do inside the imperial palace like if you talk to the captain of the guard he lets you recruit imperiasl guards or something?

Hey, just wondering for a quick fix.. I just downloaded, and I have 1.011, but every time for loading it gives me: RGL error for loading a "toga" tga.... how do I fix/ this mod looks cool, and it would be too bad if I can't play it...

hold up there guys when you go and buy your self armour when an RGR ERROR UNABLE TO RESTORE VERTEX BUFFER comes up press tab and alt and once it takes you to your desktop press the error DONT CLOSE IT YET!!. then open the game again do the tab and alt again so you would see the error you wont see your desk top only your toolbar. At the toolbar and right click on it close it then click on the mount and blade and you will be at the armour shop


DO THIS WHEN THERE IS AN ERROR IF ITS WEAPONS DO THE SAME WHAT I TOLD YOU IT WORKED FOR ME ALTHOUGH IT IS KINDA ANNOYING

Great mod. Excellent story-driven content. Really like the differences between the races and the various promotion trees for the units.

I was expecting a lot less because of the adult content and tried it for a bit of a laugh, but the story content makes this an excellent addition.

As far as Beta feedback, the only problems I can see so far are with the Imperial City:
1. Asking the Captain of the Guard to post troops to protect the Empress hangs the game.
2. Would be good to have a selection screen so you don't need to physically enter the city each time.
3. On one occasion I couldn't exit the city from the front doors or exit by pushing 'tab'.
4. Not sure how to have the Empress leave your party to take up residence.

Balance issues:
Feel the Amazon are a little over-powered because they are nearly all on horse-back.

Rosha or anybody for that matter. idk why but i don't know where to put the files to start the mod. PLZ HELP!!!

(Well you know what sskemp I work on a 173 acre farm too but I know how to type right and to spell check) Anyway Ive taken over the whole map and nothing happens, All I get is a message saying im the sole and last kingdom of Calradia, no other factions exist and Ive got EVERY lord being a Vassal to me now ive talked to your sister,brother, and Sir Vincent and nothing happens. How do I win? Or is it not possible on the 75.2?

No endgame is coded yet...sorry. I'll be adding more features to kingdom management, and more end game stuff.

Excellent mod Rosha the best mod i have played yet love the ability to get married. Be able to be basicly leader of a faction as well love the new weapons quests and equipment and npc. 10/10 great job just keep updating the mod and ill stay one happy camper.

Acctually, minimum age would varry from land to land. Here in sweden the age would be somewhere arround 15 to 18.

EDIT: Btw, here in Sweden, in official "normal" (movies that goes at bio, then comes as a movie on disc) we only have a 7+, 11+ and 15+ age on movies. (exept for movies for children).

RGL Error has something to do with the vertex buffer on your vid card. I haven't seen a satisfactory resolution to it on the forums, but it's in some vid cards and not in others.

It hit me all the freaking time when I was using an NVidia 6150. If I clicked on an object in the character screen too quickly, it would lock and pop, and then when I'd re-open the game, I'd have lots of black fields where armor and faces should be.

I've got an XFX GeForce 8400 GS now. I know it's weak compared with almost everything else, but the RGL Error hasn't popped up since.

The chariots are brill so much fun

hard at first but once you get used to the controls is great fun

Not too much of a fan of the nudity, to be more specific, the male's part - it makes no sense, why is it standing up? Retracting a point for that reason. Not to mention females have armors where their boobs are visible - historically, if warriors (male or female) could afford armor, especially in the winter, they will most likely cover their boobs as well.

However, everything else is amazing. The map is really good, the beginning is flawless and fresh.... impressed 9/10

All the companions should be safe to leave at the palace, but do NOT leave your spouse there, as he/she will be lost.

this is a great mod! battles are great and the nudity is both fun and distracting but it keeps you playing.

Hope you'll be updating this soon. I was having trouble with areas in the map being unreachable (Prid and Valkyrie areas). Oh and more arrows please.

Overall one of the best mods I've played so far.

Well by the start i thought this mod sucked....until i left the village.
Alot of new items,Tons of quests,kingdom stuff, story, well and everything. Also i liked the black dungeonvery creepy nice mod and its still a beta. I expect alot from this.

Also there are some little bugs
-Some armor and shield have default names like "kite shield h"
-Some imperial guards in the castles you capture. They say "Surrender or die. Make your Choice."
-The imperial guards in the I.Palace asks you to give your weapons so you speak to the lord. You go to a hill map. There's a random unit there. You can't reach it.

I liked the helmets from the arena. Maybe you could make it usable out of the arena? And why the women armor in the arena? It looks funny

If you actually go to the characters screen (near "locations") there is a deformed bald guy called "kingdom heroes including player begin)

Really great mod...but I have an error when i try to go to the black dungeon the screen pops up for a nanosecond, the i go back to the overhead map...dont know why, and also, the nuns dress makes the nuns look like hookers. Great potential as a mod, but needs some fixin to do, such as maby making the black cathedral at war with everyone when they appear, and making ur faction not at war with anyone until u decide to or theey decide to...cause it is tough when ur at war with 2 factions when u first start out...anyways...great mod.

It's near at where you appear after leaving the initial village... it's to the west near Odoacer.

Lokuul... i can enter black dungeon with no problems i just need the quest to enter it.... the black cathedral is at war with everyone to me right after they SPOILER-- the Prid empire revealed themselves as the BC.

oh...i didnt know that there was a quest...
and the bc is not at war with everyone when they appear...mabey 1 other faction...but not everyone...and they make peace usually.

Well, to me they were at war with like 2 factions and us.... but i already defeated them
Also you need quests to enter every special locations like Cloister,Cathedral, etc.

can i ask for something can you add autoloot aswell as in recruit mountain bandits and forest bandits please.....

Tis a very good mod.. by far my fav and some extraordinary additions from the normal run-of-the-mill mods.. such as your amazing work with chariots it's the little additions that set this mod so far apart from others.. would be nice to have some special items dotted around here and there.. maybe items that once you defeat certain people you loot or fight over precious items in a dual or even once you have a full set of items you gain a few extra attribute.. sucj as a Dark lords armour where once you have the armour, gauntlets, leggings, helmet and sword.. you get an additional bonus like 5 strength points or something like that..

Would love to see some more little original things that you stumble across and thing Ohh the other thing i like in some mods is magic such as in the Wheel of time mod and others.. if you could incorporate magic in just a little bit.. like maybe a special brotherhood of weird zap bang magic dudes also something similar to the Noldar in P of Panda or whatever its called (the name eludes me) just a few 'elite' factions that have maybe one castle that you can only view on a certain quest.. or if you're freindly enough with them.. I have a good idea for it.. based on a few mods i've played (i just lack the tech know-how) if you're interested then comment and i'll babble on a bit more and you might be able to make my babble a reality..

But very very nice work.. this mod may of just passed my original fav the Lombard Leagues.. for which i was a tester

I agree with Von Brett this is a great mod that just needs a few things..I would love to see some magical items and alot more Heros to hire.
I love the way you have done the Black Faith very nasty and hidden towns and dungeons are great love to see more of that Love the armor for females.. they just need bigger tities to fill the armor out nicely and they would be perfect The music to the mod is very fitting and works well highly enjoyable this mod is worth the download.. If people are worried bout the nudity all i have to say is its pretty short lived once you get into the higher levels of the game you will rarely see barbs running round its more the inquisition armys after you at that point in the game. What i am currenty trying out is too see if i can have more then one wife.. i'd love to have a herium of women fighting for me and if i can't can u please make it so i can marry as many women as i like would solve the more Heros to hire problem.
Great quests for towns the raft missions and escort missions are done well love to see more of that type of quests in game makes things alot more interesting
It would be great if you could add something like holy artifacts to steal off the Black Faith or even a path of play that allows you to join the Blackfaith and go against your heritage if you want that evil path feel, orMaybe have end game boss that u need special artifact weapons to defeat him with would be great.

Anyway i love this Mod and i can't wait to see further updates keep up the good work

lordglyth, that's weird...it always works for me.

I love this mod but the only bad thing is that you can't use flora or panoramic mod with this module. Panoramic crashes the game and flora makes some trees become blank(white)

I played and enjoyed your previous version, however I am experiencing a situation with the new beta .8. Installs ok, loads ok, however after I choose or create a character the game shuts down. The bug with flora and fauna mod add ons will be fixed for the next version.

The thing that causes the most crashes with .8 is add on's. More metal sounds, panoramic mod etc. Battle sizer should work, but higher number's will cause it to crash. My guess would be graphic or sound add ons. Sorry bout that.

Hi, a very silly question: is there a way to make it compatible with Europe 1200?

I'm having the same problem.

There are some compatablility issues with some add-ons like more metal sounds, panoramic and some others. It does work with some, like graphic enhancement mod. Try a new install of M&B in a different directory and it should work.

I do not have any addons installed because they do nothing but cause problems

Mine's crashing like a mofo, too. Installing in a different directory didn't help.

New install of M&B didn't work. I even completely uninstalled M&B and tried again, but the mod still crashes.

Yeh,i have the problem to,with me the RGL error is with Roots of Yggradasil though.

sieur gavin was changed to general maximus. i had been tweaking the troops a little bit (i want my companions a little bit stronger) and sir vincent will appear when you (i dunno if you got more renowns?) ive been hanging around pubs more to knocked all those drunks =))

damn!!! i have downloaded this mod but when i extracted file i got an unperfectly file!!! i redownloaded for three times but it's still the same

Sorry for the crashes, those of you who are having them. I'm pretty sure I know what's caused it, and will upload a fix for this tomorrow.

The mods seems great, but it still crashes on my computer. I've downloaded it today ( 18th of December ), so I guess it's the 9.1 version you were talking about and that's supposed to fix this problem.

What's odd is that the file was called "Beta_9" in my download folder.

I've already trained a naked farmer... Hilarious !

The crahes happened three times :

1)when I tried to call an amazon lord from the gates of a castle
2)When I tried to talk to an army commander on the map
3)In a tavern, where I was just walking

Sigh, sorry. It's hard for me to test this, as I don't have any problems, so this might take some doing to fix. Till then a temp fix for those that are experiencing game crashes:
go to the wedding dance folder
Open module.ini with notepad or any text editor
scroll down and find these lines
scan_module_sounds = 1
scan_module_music = 1
change it to
scan_module_sounds = 0
scan_module_music = 0
should fix the problem for now.

I had a few problems, mainly due to Taverns, i'm unsure as to what causes it. One time it crashed as i entered the Tavern, another time it crashed when I spoke to a drunk.. however i've re-tried this a few times and it's worked the other times, so as i've said, i'm at a loss as to what causes it. apart from that things are running smoothly..

Gameplay is up to it's better than the best standard as always, one thing i've found is that when it comes to the time to announce the Empire is back, there is no option to do so, so at the moment i remain a 'Prid Rebel' which is never as good (also means I can't recruit Empire troops at villages- at vast expense to my coffers ) I'm unsure as to whether this is due to me declaring war on someone through the empire option before announcing the empires existance or whether it's just missing..

Things to think of.. Adding new items would be a good one, i noticed a few new ones, but the same old 'bastard sword' from the 1st release of M&B is a bit passe
With your new surrender options, is it possible to make the Enemy surrender? For example, If you capture a King or lord, they surrender one of their Fiefs to you rather than offering you a few thousand coins for their release, which isn't worth it.. (also might want to strengthen the Kings and Queens of the realms.. i think they should be a more 'elite' class and very very hard to kill prehaps 4 or 5 times as strong, as when you can beat down a king with a rusty toothbrush.. you wonder as to whether their claim to throne is a good one..
Chariots. Lovely work! a true beauty! To maximise the use of them, could you have various different torni options, for example along side the normal torni, add in chariot racing.. and prehaps something like an archery competition to help win your bride to be 'similar to the robin hood story' all found through the torni menu
Not sure if you've ever heard of the 'lombard leagues' mod.. but they did some EXTENSIVE work into ruling a town etc, like your mod, it was by far the best of it's time.. They had a system where there were 'council meetings' where you sort out the locals disputes etc.. it is hugely impressive! and well worth your time looking at i feel it would shoot your mod about 2 years ahead of everyone elses.. i was a private tester for this mod so i can give you any further details if you like.. I would seriously recommend it
Just a small thing, maybe a few new banners too.. i'd love to see a few banners of the 'Empire' in amongst the other normal ones

Hi ! I'm supposed to find a Cathedral near a place called "Colcosti".
I love the secret places idea, but I think it would be great to give us more details in the quest log ( directions ).

I did not see the interest of the barrel boat quest you can find in villages. You're just a sitting duck, waiting for the bad guies' arrow. I think you could improve this idea, because it has a lot of potential.
The mule thing is also a bit strange... All these naked barbarian assaulting carpets is kinda funny... But the farmers are so stupid... Maybe a few of your heroes could desguised themselves as well...

Another improvent I found in other mods and that was great was that you could talk to the village elder or the city guild guy from the city log ( the one you get when you press Tabulation key, next to the A on the keyboard )

Anyway, it's a great mod and I congratulate you !

I have a bug to report.... When I am in the map view, I click the tab labled Character and it closes out also when i go into party view I click to talk then it closes out. If you need me to explain more just say so.

Yup, it takes a while to find hidden places. If you REALLY can't find it, turn cheats on and press "alt+t" on the world map =/. Hope i helped.

well ive been playing for a week now havent got any problems until i was about to fight a steppe bandits that was chasing me (garrisoned all the troops to a castle) the last "new enemies arrrived" made my M&B crashed. now whenever i have to engage a battle i have to save it then if it'll crash i have to load it again and avoid fighting those troops -_-

other than that everythings great! the new items, bar fights, troops, the cattle will follow, etc, BTW love the super armor! although i dont like the red thingy on its helmet. can you make it gold?(the thingy on its head not the whole helm) just suggesting so itll match the armor =D

Oh well, try reinstalling M&B or check if you have any addons that can conflict with the module. If you computer can handle it, try using Battle Sizer

try checking the item_kinds1 and check if it has one hand swing ability on it. for me ive tweak some of them.(like flintlock, samurai, etc ) or try checking the attack direction in your option. hope it helps. and oh yeah that bug(the steppe bandit crash bug) is not appearing anymore and i dont know why. but some few ones appeared just playing today.

1. if the chariot go to fast somethings wrong with it. like youll fall but you wont fall.
2. some troops are stuck in the lake near st. clare
3. wearing a pilgrim disguise in imperial castle

other than that its still a cool mod and i enjoy playing it =D

I took everything in Sir Marcus'invotenrory and then I told him to piss of. Now there's a naked guy in every tavern, asking me to take him back in my team. Get lost, pervert !

I have the "unable to restore vertex buffer" crashes during battle ( when the ennemie's renforcement comes, I guess ), but I think it's a graphic card thing (Nvidia ).

A few suggestion, for this great mod :

1 ) I think you should make different prices for the prisonners you sell in taverns.

2) I didn't get the castle part. Ok, there's this old maniac chasing me, calling himself "Sir Vincent" and telling me I'm a prince or whatever and that my stupid sister, whose hobby seems to be hitting barbarian's weapon with her face, is a queen. Fine.

But I found the castle by mistake. It's not like if somebody told me to get there. Maybe you should make a little quest. An escort, or a secret map or following trails.

3) The castle is great... But... What the hell have they been doing during all these years, those idiots ? Where do all these guies come from ? Maybe there should be a few quests, like saving the tax guy or the catapult girl.
The garnison idea was a great one too !

You could start with a tramp cottage and get a few mission to turn it into this great castle. Then you could have servent growing food ( vegetables and cattle )

4) In "Sid Meier's pirate", you have treasure maps. Maybe you could do a few things like that. If you need inspirations for quest, dialogues and all that sort of thing, you should also try "Fallout 1 and 2" and "Mass effect"

5) The duels between my heroes are funny, but we don't get to see what happens next. Once, there was this guy telling me that a girl in the crew was hot for him, and that it was annoying. Then he lost his duel against her. What happens next ? Is he forced to make her foot massage after every training ?

6) I gave Sir Simmon one of these Valkyrie leather armor. He now has bigger boobs than my wife.

7)The Mule escort thing is damn too long. It's a great idea, but it just dosn't make any sens. The barbarian should rape the donkeys, not try to steal the carpet.

9) It would be great to be able to pick your own teams for tournament. Just like at school, when you get to pick a partner among the whole class, then the other guy picks one, then you pick one, then... You get the idea. It would be great. But you could do let the computer do your team randomly if that's not the kind of things you like.

Sorry for this long list and for my broken english. It's a very great mod, for a very great game. Thanks for all your work !

Hi all, I have a question, i have done the queen's ceremony and steice is the queen contender. i have taken all the castles from the King edward's faction, and i have promoted all the sir's to knights including zechin and fawzia. at what point steice will depart from me as a queen contender or companion into the Imperial Queen?

When you talk to Steise you can tell her to have all lords switch to imperial troops. Aside from your guards how the hell do I get them! If I could I would really like to know how.

I have read the comments on the mod forums and they say that you can upgrade troops at villages. I don't seem to be able to. I have one castle, one town, and two villages. Do I need to take over an entire kingdom? Again, how do I get the imperial troops?

You have to make the King LIKE you. Earn his trust, make some of his quests.

at recruiting page, theres a line that says "outfit them as imperial troops" hope that helps

If I understand you correctly, after I carve out some territory for myself and after I've told Steise to have all lords use Imperial Troops I go to a village, click the recruit button and along with it saying "recruit them" it should have another line saying "outfit them as imperial troops"? If that is so then I have a problem because no such line exists. I downloaded the most current version of this mod and started a new file. What's wrong? Could importing a character mess it up? I'm gonna try and redownload this mod and reinstall it. See if that works. In the mean time is there anything/anyone who can help me with this issue.

I think it is the best mod I have ever played. Maybe Star Wars Conquest is equal. Interesting new quests, not bad character stories - I fell some RPG in this game for the first time. New armors are great. Chariot is OK. And these many options in Imperial Palace.... Love it. There's a funny bug - women armor can be worn by men, which makes them have breasts...

Okay, I removed Wedding Dance 0.91 Beta from my computer after deleting all game files, then I deleted the backup of the Wedding Dance savegame files. I then proceeded to redownload and reinstall it and I imported a lvl 40 character, got Steise to have all lords use imperial troops and I still can't recruit them. What's going on? Whenever I go to a village and click the recruit button there is no second dialogue line that says I can outfit them as imperials. Is there something wrong with the mod? If there isn't then somebody please tell me the exact steps to follow in order to recruit them. It's frustrating when people say you can recruit them and I don't seem to be able to.

im unfortunately experiencing a LOT of crashes and im really not sure why. i have newest version new character i even tried changing the sound lines from 1 to 0 and its still crashing uncontrollably. and its at random times sometimes i can play for 2 minutes sometimes 20 before it happens and nothing in particular seems to set it off. anyone have any suggestions?

I've been playing this mod for days now !

For the "vertex buffer" crashes, I've been able to avoid them with a few changes :

1) Less than 10 dead bodies ( I left weapons unlimited, though )
2) Battlesizer near 299

A few bugs, even if they didn"t spoil the fun :

1) During battle, I have a messsage that keeps coming back. It says : Behavior 05
2)I left Sir Vincent, the old crazy tramp, at Eion castle, but I can't take him back. He tells me : Surrender or die and then there's no other dialogues options
3) For the "witch rescue" mission ( in a dungeon, I think ), when you talk to a with, you must then select your weapons again. That can be a problem if you're under attack
4)The Catapult doesn'et always work. Sometimes, the rock just stays down and hurt the catapulter ( who's a fricking idiot ! Once, he went with the siege tower ! )
5) When you look at your troops, it indicates the wage of your battalion, but not the garnison's wage. Maybe you should show how much your cities garnisons cost, because it's always a surpirse !
6)Maybe you should give us more slots for troops.
7)Every time a village elder asks me to escort his fricking donkeys, I kill his wife and give his kids to the barbarians. This is an horrible mission ! Damn too long ! Seven barbarians would be enough, I think
A nice option I saw in another mod : at the end of a battle, it was telling how much ennemies you killed by yourself.

A few questions, now !

A) Is there anything to find in the imparial castle courtyard ?
B)When I get to more than a hundred troops, they are sad. How come ?
C)What are the skills my heroes need ? For themselves or for my party ?
D) Is it possible to get rid of a civilization ? I took every cities from the amazon crazy girls, and they still exist. How come ?
E) Could you give us a clue about the "honey moon" part. My wife thinks we're gonna have a little prince just by holding my hand

I had alot of the vertex thing. You don't need to set 10 bodies, just set battle sizer to 50. You will only fight some enemies during the scene, then another fight will start, with no bodies on the floor.

2) Oh, yup, i think you have to speak to someone else.
3) Oh, there's no way to avoid that. It's not a bug, if you talk to ANY npc during a fight scene, that happens.
6) What do you mean more slots? If i got your question right, just raise CHA and Leadership.
7) Yup, i usually run and kill all the barbarians and then (IRL) i go do somethin else

A) No, i think it's like the other castles: there's nothin in the
courtyard.
Um... try buying better ( and more) food, winning fights and letting they rest in the night (camping).
C)You choose. I usually get them some attack skills and then give them some party skills.
D) It takes a while to vanish. Did you check if there's NO lord alive?
E) I didn't get to that part =/
F) They go to taverns around the world... you'll find them

There's no way to kill lords, i believe, i wrote it wrong. All you can do is to get all of their cities and beat the crap out of the remaining lords.
I think you can ask to one of the guys in the palace but i'll tell you, You can give medals to your own heroes(i think, if they're already imperial knights) and to YOUR lords. They'll like you more for that and they'll get good armour.

Well about building up your relationship with a prince, he doesn't have an army, so that's why you can hire lords

naaa like when you marry the person joins your party...

I think it would be lame, recruiting thousand of princes, give em the best armour and level them, and they wouldn't have conflicts (like heroes do)

first of all why is this an adult mod the only reason is if it has sexual content and why 21 why not 18? lol

It would be nice if you'd employ the ability to use formations and moral in this mod. I find it hard to kill Black Cathedral/Prid Empire troops with Calradian Empire troops (I have it set to the hardest difficulty settings). At this setting your soldiers get killed easily by Black Cathedral troops if you don't tell them to hold position and stand closer (at least that is what I've found). If you should ever employ formations in the game make it fair and allow the enemy to use it. You also may want to make it so you can order individual unit types (cavalry, infantry, archers) to use different formations so that you don't have them all forming ranks, a line, or a wedge when you don't want that unit type to do that.

a problem occured when i try to make peace with valkyrie kon. it was no faction wants (certain amount of money from me) and i paid it. then some message says something like calradian empire faction, etc relations 0 to 11. then i talked to one of my lords then m&b just stopped and hang.

oh yeah, just a suggestion i wish this has the more metal soundpack(dunno how to install it myself coz it would mess up the sound.txt) coz sometimes when i try to hit a armor using a sword it sounds like i cut a clothing or something

How do I install this mode? Do I simply unzip the mod ZIP file, and copy the "Wedding Dance - Beta 9" directory under "C:\Program Files\Mount&Blade\Modules" ?

Or do I need to do something else?

Indeed you install the mod into "C:\Program Files\Mount&Blade\Modules"

To use the mod click the icon as if your going to play mount&blade.
When the screen (that says play mount&blade, configure and so on,) Above the title "play mount&blade" it sould say current module.
Next to it on the right is an arrow, just click the arrow and choose whitch mod to play. (Sorry for the LOOONNNNNGGGG instructions)

Any chance you could incorporate the Polished Landscapes mod into wedding dance? I have tried to run it but all my buildings turn white other then that it runs fine.

I did manage to get the polished buildings mod to work with version 8 but it killed the gypsie woman in town she stoped appearing after i installed it.

Downloading the new verson now can't wait to see what changes you have done since 8

Oh and for people that have crashs, i found having the battle sizer set too high will cause a crash.. i have mine set under 200 and i stoped getting crashs if that helps.

Oh and one last thing for people finding it hard to fight the black faith.. this might make things easier for you.

First have all your heros use polearms its a must. crouched lance damage bloody hurts.

Second always flank your enemy. easy way to do this is make sure all your army has slower horse's in battle and be the first to see the enemy they will all automatically turn for the player and you can then lure them into a flank trap for your troops to charge. its too easy and they fall like flys

No you can't, that only makes them either stand or charge. No wide, wedge, square and combo formations etc.

First off what I meant was that in certain mods (mods with formations and moral) if you order a certain troop type to lets say for ranks the command ends up ordering all unit types to form ranks. As stated before the only effective way to use your infantry (unless they're to tier) effectively is to have them hold position and move really close together. This is frustrating. If there is an Imperialistic storyline shouldn't they use advanced tactics? Should all the other factions descended from the Empire have advanced tactics?

Hello i have recently downloaded this mod version 9 am and find it excellent, however, i am having trouble starting the quest i've found sir vincent and he's told me my sister is royalty and i then spoke to sister and said we should wait before revelaing ourselves, now i have got renown and friend with various lords i cannot find out how to get my sister to anounce her royalty!!!! What do you mean? You can't tell her to anounce the empire or you can't FIND her? Anyway, if you surrendered or lost a battle, she may be on a tavern. If she's with you, you have to say "We need to talk about something" or something like that.

no i can find my sister but when i talk to her there is no option to anounce empire, when i say "we need to talk something" all i acan ask is whether she thinks i'm doing a good job with the group. Also if we havent anounced ourselves yet 1. why do the black church attack me and 2. why can i explore imperial castle and talk to all the people as though i rule?

Umm... try waiting a few days, or talking to Sir Vincent. 1. Because they're...bad? 2.They already know you're the regent.

I have the same problem. When I ask Steise ‘something else’ I get ‘I want to discuss the Empires management’ – but she’s not the Queen yet.

I also explored the castle looking for a solution and found only that when I talked to the Quartermaster, and took things from him, the ‘Return’ didn’t work.

I really liked the beta .8 and stuff but this wont work i really looked forward to it. It keeps crashing all the time when i just walk for 5 sec and then it crashes some help plz

would love to play this mod , i have probably 95% of the major mods. sadly it crashes , only mod that does. i have vista, and sad to say im not a tech head and have tried the different fixes , of which some posted that are over my head and id run the risk of fubaring my whole system or part of . hoping maybe a fix is coming so any and all can play it ,without having to jump thru hoops . it does load and play, til i try the char tab or initiate battle .from what i seen it looks great and from sounds of it ( the comparing to PoP mod ( big fan of PoP ) others like it to.

i am unsure if my battlesizer was the issue or not , but i turned it down to under 100 and turned off the ragdolls etc and after a few saves and crashes i was able to play the mod and i love it , still get the occasional crash. it is now definatly one of my top fav mods .

I already downloaded, but I can't play it...I keep seeing the anoying sign saying:
"RGL ERROR - get_skeleton_anim failed for: run_man_right". I know that this ain't the place for these questions, but how do I fix this? Do I need "Iron Launcher" to make it work? Yes i ahve tried that it starts when i save it then go back in the game and press on a person and crashes i have to wait a hour or 2 just to make it fix it self One more thing youshould make this mod so good that you can **** your lady and have a baby,child,adult then he can help you fight

I don't know ANYTHING about crashes, but be more specific. Try using DIRECT X 7 instead of 9, or lowering textures.

By far this is the most entertaining mod I've played to date. I have gone through all versions. I am now on your latest version. I have a question about the dungeons under the Imperial Palace. After the wedding of Steise and Sir John, the Jester kidnaps my wife, and I go into the dungeons to save her. Is there a secret to getting past all the traps. I seem to get past the first and second traps easily, but get caught by the third set of blades. I then have to start from the begining and go through all the traps again. Please advise or help!!!!

this adjustment worked for crashes, i run vista. start game , on main menu .configure / audio/ disable music/disable sound. if you have battle sizer keep at or under 100. lower textures and no rag dolls and no bodies . no crashes since. it is one of the top 5 mods out currently for its uniqueness & storyline etc. would be # 1 IF was redone with a different soundpak ( if thats the cause of crashes ) though playing it this way realy does take from the enjoyment . . as far as enabling the other settings i dont have many enabled,,, 4 i think , the performance % for mine is 365 % . with just 4 enabled.. hope that helps some at least get going into the game, after a bit maybe try different settings to see what works and what doesnt. from what i have seen , the root cause is the sound . still a great mod. would be awsome cept the crash problems( sound ? ) major kudos to those involved in making it. and hope a fix is done in near future. then youd see this mod get raves like crazy.

I found the problem. Patience. I have none. I figured out the problem.

This is the best mod ever!!

But now, after a lot of time playing with the same character, i find a terrible problem.

After some days, i got the message "Treason", so the black cathedral come back again. The problem is, all castle and towns of the black cathedral now have something like 60-80 "defensor de deus".
I just impossible to win the fight, this unit is very unbalanced. =(

I must say I had the same opinion of this mod as many other people did: Wedding Dance mod? Silly hats? Bah! Sounds pretty foolish and not to be taken seriously. Well I thought wrong. As it stands Prophecy Of Pendor is probably my favorite mod, and this one seems to be right up there with it. I've only been playing it for a few hours or so, but i've noticed a lot of changes in troops/armor/weapons. This mod, in my opinion, gives off somewhat of a Mad Max feel, with the new items, profanities, adult content, and especially the barbarians that wander the main map. I always thought deserters were a breeze to kill, until I realized that these ones were on horseback, and sported shiny armor with hints of pink. Even still, very formidable and they pretty much leveled me. I look forward to getting into the nitty gritty of this mod. Don't judge a book by it's cover. This mod is definitely worth checking out. Great job, Rosha.

I'd also like to add that someone mentioned before that the M&B Panoramic mod was making their game crash. I'm using it and everything seems to be working fine.

I downloaded this and it didnt work the first time so i re downloaded it and it works fine. i can get to the world map and run around a but but when i go into combat with some raiders it crashes and its really depressing

Man love this mod man excellent. THe mods got a unique flair and flavor not seen in any other mods. Also I think the music was excellent in this mod really added to the game especially the kind if Irish river dance like music.

Oh and nice touch adding the highlanders lol that is so awesome those highlanders.

Though I also was getting random crashes when I went into taverns and talked to one of my party members. When I disabled the sound I got no crashing so is still something with the sound and this is the newest version .92

But I wanted play with sound so heres something that oddly works for me. Im using Vista 64 bit home premium.

When I start to get crashes I go into progeam properties and run mount and blade in xp service pack 2 compatibility mode after doing that I get no crashes through out the game. But when I turn the game off and restart sometimes i will be fine and other times it will start crashing again so then I go back in the properties run it in regular default mode and ill get no crashed through out the game.

So basically I cycle through running mount and blade in xp compatibility mode and default mode. This some how is keeping me from experiencing crashes and I get to keep the sound on!! Becasue there are alot of new sound effects and music in this mod and they really add to the immersion of the game especially the taverns. OK guys ive finally found a solution to crashing that works for me and allows you to play with most of the sound. This was taken off the The wedding Dance forum on the tale worlds board this worked for me and I thought id put it up here. IT says for windows 7 but I have vistsa 64 and this worked for me.




"" Ok, I thought I would share a possible workaround for those of you with Windows 7 who are still having the sound related crashes.

Go to the module's Sounds folder and delete the following files (be sure to make a backup in case it doesn't work):

3_O1.ogg
3_O2.ogg
crowd_happy.ogg
crowd_nuts.ogg

I haven't fully tested every event, area, battle, etc in the game, but for me this fixed crashes when:

(click to show/hide)
- clicking on the character button/accessing the character sheet
- talking to party members (Rogan especially) and other characters including Lords
- accessing a merchant

What I did was some trial and error testing of the sound folder, taking half of the files out, seeing if it crashed, then trying the other half, etc. In the end, I narrowed it down to those four files that were causing my crashing. I have no idea if it will help anyone else, and remember that I did not test it for everything in the game.

I hope this helps some people at least play the module with the proper atmosphere, or at least gives them a starting point to fix their unique issues, and maybe Rosha can take a look at the files and spot anything odd.

Oh yeah, and I wanted to say thanks to those of you who narrowed it to the sounds folder.

big thanx to reaver456 for passing this fix to this forum , that fix works , so far no crashes , i now have sound affects, i run vista 32 bit , no music but at least i have sound affects realy helps the gameplay feel.

You should be able to play with the music on too with that fix.

Hi, could you please remove the nudity, I don't care about it, but just incase one of my family members walk in the room I don't want them to see it lol.

once you get a ladies token or males version of if you happen to be a girl like myself , keep playing normaly the knights will find you , to challenge you for it . the contest/challenges are 1 of 3 choices , joust, mace, 2h sword............as far as the take the nude out ? lol uhm there is armor that Doesnt show Any nudity , and it does say /warn /advise ALL that this mod has nudity. havent heard of a setting to remove the nudity, more likely would take a Total Rework of the mod, bit Much to ask imo . comment last edited by meb2183 on Apr 02, 2010, 05:46:24 pm

The nudity lowers the amount of people being able to play the mod which there is no point to add nudity in the first place. I understand if it is an adult mod but it's not like any of us enjoy seeing a 3D woman naked. I like to see women naked but not if they are in a mod for a game, it's just like when Grand Theft Auto added prostitutes. There was no need for it and it just lowered the amount of people being able to purchase the game. I wasn't able to play one until I turned twelve and it was because of the prostitutes, not because of the swearing or violence, and there are many instances just like mine.

Man! Love this mod...only downside is the nudity. With this game being played by all ages, I think this is something that needs to be addressed. I do however realise that Rosha shouldn't rewrite the whole mod, but maybe the previously suggested "Wedding Dance v2" would be a good idea.

hi there realy loving this mod just a small minor thig is the heraldic on your companions they should upgrade to your banner as soon as you can select it (especialy rogan , sir vincent an steisse as you sort of select the family banner)

For a Possible Fix , Try reaver456's passed on fix, dated mar 19 2010 thats posted a lil ways back .. worked for me, i sometimes have to start my media player in order to have the mods music to kick in, works still after i close the media player . i run vista 32 bit . i added his post to this one (see below under comment)......... As far as the nudity complainers , dont ya think that if the mod maker was worried about it , theyd have not included the nudity. Player/Builders usualy make a mod so THEY can enjoy what THEY want , it is after all THEIR !! Idea/Creation/Vision!! that THEY are taking the time ,effort,energy to create...then THEY are NICE enough to SHARE it with anyone who would Like to play a mod of that nature. LOL you crack me up... you See & READ the Warning of whats in it, then DL it anyway, then complain about what the Warning TOLD/INFORMED/WARNED !!!!! you of what was going to be in it .. Not trying to sound like a b*tch but as some would suggest/say, if ya dont like it ,try a dif mod, i myself have easily over 24 dif mods ,so isnt like there arent any others.... Or Make Your Own. These are and or a good % are SHARED mods not made exsclusively for everyone. BE Thankfull !!!!! that THEY ( all mod makers) even bother to SHARE their creations with us . Well if you are offended by nudity don't forget to read at the beginning"if you are offended by anything at all this is not the mod for you".Nudity is not a downside in my opinion it's an upside cause thinking of all those jap anime in wich almost all female char have sexy clothing and there are suposed to be for kids in this mod the uploader had the decency to write a warning as for the anime stuff you will never see a warning about the sexy stuff ever.So for the uploader thumbs up and keep up the great work.
oh and anyone offended by the nudity in this mod what will you do when you will see a real naked woman?

It's hilarious reading how many people come here to whine about the nudity. Even after the warning... In bright red... It's not like nudity in and of it's self matters all that much. Were these people born wearing footy jammies? Do they bathe with a swimsuit on or something? Get over it.

Is there plans to port to warband? Seems like a really good mod too.

Does the Booby Traps work? If they do how?

I love this mod, really its my fav but i have trouble deciding wether to keep it on my cpu or delete it, im not a big fan of porn and nudity, so can you just like make another one that simply changes nothing except changes costumes and removes nudity, thank you.

I'm having a bit of a problem with this mod, I downloaded it last night, played fine for about 3 hours, then quit for the night, no crashes or anything. come back today and it starts randomly crashing, sometimes after a battle, sometimes as I'm on the map, sometimes when in the tavern, seems extremely random. Other thing that started happening today is I cannot seem to go into first person view, it sorta freezes but doesn't crash. its like the screen cannot completely switch views. so it freezes until i hit R again to go back to normal view. (Meanwhile a battle continues to happen)

Anyone got any answers to this? I made sure media player wasn't running, even tried changing the noted values on the forum.
(Oh one other, entire map worked last night, now today i experience the thing where my guy continues going but camera wont go with him in certain parts.)

Not sure what could have changed between last night and today, even tried deleting the mod and reinstalling it and starting fresh game. problems persist.

Any Help is greatly appreciated.

As for all the people saying to change the warning to 18+, 21 makes sense because that way it covers the legal age in ALL states in the USA, as well as most of the rest of the world. 18 covers most in the USA but a few states lag behind lol

I do kind of like this mod though, ill give a, ItzJames reveiw. ROSHA PLEASE READ AND TAKE NOTE OF THIS, ESPECIALLY THE IMPROVEMENTS EXPECTED SECTION.
This mod gives a wide variety and speaks well for Mount & Blade.
It overall changes almost everything about Mount and Blade, giving a better build on the castles and better missions including those old boring missions about taking money from these whores who dont wanna pay back anyway. Now you can get new missions such as Besiging the Cloister, taking down the grand inquisitor in the Black Cathedral, or even guarding mule trains. I cant say how great the some of the castles are, although some look like the ones from native overall most things are changed, you can even go into towns and talk to fortune tellers! More things include Chariots and Catapults, although the chariots are VERY VERY VERY hard to control considering you will probably fall off or something like that, and the catapults dont really work as far as im concerned. A good part of this game (but in some cases a put down) is the nudity. This just adds more to the game and will distract as well as entertain (for some.) It also makes it very tempting to attack Pontus Poletia sometimes if you know what i mean. Getting married adds realism to the game and gives you more things to do, but as you can see some people are complaing about sex so adding it might not be to bad.
Some of the new weapons and armors are just groundbreaking and awesome, giving this mod better rating.
But unfortunately this game isnt all good and no errors or put downs. When you get married there arent many options with your wife. You can do quests for her but mainly she just asks you to hold a court with all these fools, and pitifull cases with idiots who just cheer and cheer, even if they are being accused of some crime like raping or killing someone. So far i havent gotten any other quests from her. And even before you marry someone they dont give you many quests.
The nudity in some cases is kind of stupid (of course an entire army of women wearing just a golden braa is pretty stupid) But i bet you someone is enjoying it. It is a big part of the game so i think for the next release you should keep it there, although i probably wont be playing it, i stopped playing this one im just 13 year old anyway. What i really hate is that you can only go places like the "Black Dungeon" when you get a quest for it, and sometimes you just want to go in there and fight wheter you have a mission for it or not. There are some places like "The Torture Chamber" and "Smugglers Camp" that i havent found a quest for so i have been able to go there.
There are alot of spaces of improvement in this mod. The places that are part of the Black Cathedral like "The Black Dungeon" as i said before, are only enterable with a quest, and sometime you want to enter without a quest. I think you should be able to go to these places without a quest, and just do whatever you want.
During a court i dont think everyone should be cheering that much especially when someone has been given the death sentence. Sometime even you will stop and cheer, this freezing your movement and is ANNOYING.
When you in a chariot you should be linked to it like you would be on a horse, so you dont fall off. You should only be able to come of if you press F and dismount, this would prevent you from falling off.
The Catapults need to be fixed (They may not be broken i may just be using the wrong) Even when tension is at max and i fire the rock just falls of the catapult and injures the Catapulteer. Fix these things.
After everything is done, and all the faults are pointed out then we come to a grandslam rating of 4.7 stars.
I say no mod deserves 5 stars. If theres room for improvement then it doesnt deserve 5 stars, thats my policy when it comes to rating.

fixed RGL error but the game crashes now. ALOT

On the main board for this mod is alot of fixes for problems such as this. one major crash seems to be due to a codec problem.

Thats a Beat version right? is there going to be a full release soon? Its an awesome mod but i get this error message in the game " memory could not be read. press ok to terminate the problem" and it shuts the game down. Pretty annoying and i cant really play. Does anyone know the solution?

it should work fine, at least at my pc.

great mod, but when i try to klick on the char button the whole game crashs. I can only play for a couple of minutes, until the game ends and i'm back to the desktop. Need help

for those that recently are trying this mod, look thru some past postings for solutions to your crash problems , they have been addressed more than once , and they work .

If you have already talked to the old man and learned that your sister is the queen or whatever, then in order to go into the palace, you must declare yourselves, talk to your sister, and say it is time to let everyone know who you are.

Maybe try a reinstall

you can do it on the old M&B too but it's not really much of a wedding i expected.

I have the same problem, i took a look on that link you send and i found a comment that saiz you need mount and blade not warband .i hope that isn't true. please comment this with some help i'm out of options.

Im pretty sure it has not been Ported to Warband yet. It seems alot of people are trying to get the regular M&B Versions done before trying to get them ported and perfected for Warband. I Myself am Thankfull for that.

Running into a regular error whenever I try and go to the character menu - game crashes.
